Hi! I have been maintaining my weight for about 1 3/4 years and not tracking food. I run 4 days a week (about 20-25 miles a week).
-
10 months. 66 lbs I went from 192 lbs to 126 lbs.
-
Thank you for the add! I'm happy to have a maintenance friend too lol My maintenance cals are around 1,620 but Monday-Friday I try to eat around 1,500 so that I can eat more on weekends! So far it's working out nicely :)

Hi, I have been in maintenance for about 6 weeks now after losing 65 lbs. add me if you would like :)
-
Yes. I eat whatever I want as long as it stays within my daily calorie goal. I have lost 60 lbs so far
-
Update: The scale is moving this week! And I hit my goal weight today! Now on to lose the last couple pounds so that when i go into maintenance and gain the water weight back I'll still be at my goal
-
Thanks! I have my cals set to lose 3/4 of a pound a week. I'll just keep plugging away and I'll get there eventually

Yeah see, all this time I've been losing I haven't really concentrated on macros or certain types of workouts. I was doing a lot of circuit training for a while and I kind of fell off the bandwagon a while back. I try to stay active though. I work part time where I'm on my feet a lot, and I have 3 kids im chasing around…

That's a very good question. I don't know the answer though. I guess the answer would be that it's a little of both? I have changed my goal weight 3 times now. These last 5 lbs are more of an arbitrary number but also at the same time i did have a little fat left i was hoping to lose. Mostly my belly area.

I am okay with losing slower now. I have been losing a lot slower for quite a few months now and I expected it. I just got concerned because like I said earlier, I always still lost over the course of a month even if it wasn't much. But for the last month I have done nothing but lose and gain the same 1.8 lbs over and…
-
No, I have not done that. I just eat what I want and stay within my calorie goal. It's worked well for the last 8 months up until now
-
I am actually 1.8 lbs from my "goal weight". I read that you should go a few lbs under that because once you go into maintenance you gain a few lbs right away because of water and glycogen. So that's where these last 5 lbs are going... It hasn't been hard for me to lose until now. I mean, I've had my good and bad weeks…

Awesome job!

Great job!!

amazing job!!!

Yes I have it set to sedentary.
-
I do have it set to "sedentary", but I chase my little kids all day and I also work about 20-22 hours a week where I am fairly active. I would really like to get back into a regular workout routine here soon. I have a huge test I'm studying for, which I'm taking in March sometime I believe, so my plan is to get back into…

Right now I weigh about 139 lbs. I am a 5'5" female. Mfp is saying that at this very moment at 139 lbs that my maintenance cals are supposed to be 1,680. Does that sound about right to anybody else with similar stats as me?

Congrats! What an awesome story :)

Congrats!!!

I like that concept :)

I edited my post and took out the word "proper" because after thinking about it I decided that it's not up to me to decide what is "proper", but only proper for ME. :) I already know, without a doubt in my mind, that slow and steady is going to win this race. It makes me feel sad for the people who don't understand this…
-
what is the paper towel thing? :)
-
I agree, I probably shouldnt have called it "proper weight loss", but maybe "less aggressive" weight loss?
-
You look great!

they are harder for me because I work weekends. I am up by 5:45 both days and work for 10.5 hours each day. I am starving all dang day long! and then my husband makes dinner so sometimes I dont really know the exact amount of ingredients he used to make it, know what I mean? I usually just take a break from logging on…

Great job so far :)
