  • Please tell me the exact opposite!! I love my boobs :) don't wanna lose them!! ETA: I'm a 36DD and the smallest I'd want to go is a 34D. If they went any smaller I'd be devastated. My boobs are just part of 'me'. I have another 20lbs or less to lose, so hopefully not too much comes off my girls.
  • I don't think you're a bad mother. I think you sound like a great mother  BUT, my eldest is 7, and I would've brought the coat. I have guilt issues.....constantly feel guilty.....and so guilt would've made me drive the 20 mins to the school. Also the thought of what the school would 'think' of me. But you stood your…
  • Up to now I've been accepting all requests. I'd feel rude otherwise! But I'm starting to think I need to be more selective. I don't interact with a lot of the people on my friends list.
  • I have home made weight watchers soup in my freezer for those times. I make it with vegetable stock cubes, carrots, onions, garlic, broccoli, green cabbage, red and yellow peppers and a pinch of Thyme. Yum :) (just don't eat it with bread!!). It's around 40-60 cals a cup.
  • Everything! Cardio, strength training, yoga.....everything. I would buy Zumba before I'd buy wii fit. Wii fit + the board is actuallly expensive, not half as fun, and doesn't burn even close the amount of calories the Zumba game does. I've had wii fit for a year, and Zumba for two weeks....I've probably played Zumba more…
  • Yes I have a wii. It's "my son's". Lol (It's mine really). I use it every day. The two games I use most are wii fit and Zumba. For wii fit you need the balance board. You buy both together, although you can buy the game seperately too (don't know why because you can't use the game without the board). For Zumba you get the…
  • Agree! This is almost crossing the line between dieting and eating disorder in my opinion.
  • I'm on the border of Offaly and Westmeath. I'll add you now :)
  • I eat a hard-boiled egg about 4 times a week and LOVE the yolk. Just an FYI, I live in Ireland and they DO sell cartons of egg whites but they're hard to find and expensive. I couldn't be bothered. Eggs are not eggs without the yolk. If you don't want to eat the best part of an egg, maybe eat something else.
  • I've tried to diet AND quit smoking at the same time in the past and it was too much for me. So when I hit my target and am maintaining my weight I'm going to try give up smoking again.
  • ^^^ This *hides from healthy people*
  • My kids are 7 and 2. I have always ignored tantrums. If you give them attention it makes the tantrums more regular and last longer as it's attention they are craving. Reward good behaviour. Give attention and praise for 'ordinary' good behaviour (like eating dinner, playing well with sibling etc..). I also used time out…
  • I used to agree OP. I have a bad right knee, a bad right shoulder and a bad back from having babies. But since I found a work out I enjoy I actually look forward to it. I find dieting easy, I always have. I never ate too much, just the wrong things. So I'm still eating the same amount of food, just healthier versions. But…
  • Keep on top of the laundry. Also, I haven't yet passed my driving test. But since I'm Irish I can still drive. Crazy f***ed up country I live in
  • Biceps and broad shoulders. *swoon* My boyfriend has amazing shoulders. They were the first things I noticed
  • I second Zumba. Everyone has 20 mins to spare (I've got two kids too and one is home with me full-time, partner gone 14 hours a day) and every evening I close the door to the living room and it's 'my time'. Plus, 20 mins of Zumba on the Wii gives me 180 extra calories to eat every day :)
  • I would  some wine.
  • Oh I've got the big hoo-haas too. Every cloud and all that.
  • Unfortunately I am geneticallly prone to store fat on my bellly. Devastated. I was born with a belly. Now I have an 'apron' since I had kids. I feel your pain OP.

  • Hi everyone. So....I'm a 26 year old full time mother of 2 boys ages 7 and 2. I want to lose weight to be healthier, fitter (and more attractive, may as well be honest!). I live in Ireland and this is my second time on MFP. Last time I gave up after losing 11lbs (why? how stupid of me??!!) but this time I'm back for good.
  • I'd kill for a big bum. Mine is flat as a pancake. I suppose it's true what they say.....the grass is always greener!
  • Lol! Maybe I'll treat myself to a nice tummy tuck after I've got to my target weight. I'm only half joking.
  • I'll add you as a friend now. I'm on here every day and I will haunt you if I see you haven't logged on in a few days! How's that? I'm on my second go of MFP and 12 days in so far.
  • I have my diary closed as my diet is a bit limited. By this I mean I'm a fussy eater and people might be surprised to see that my only real protein sources are chicken, eggs....no red meat. I eat a lot of veg but very little fruit. I just prefer savoury food to sweet. There is plenty of room for improvement in my diary and…
  • I'm hitting my protein goal every day (and going above most days). Swapped all carbs for complex carbs, getting the best 'value' from my calorie allowance as possible. My goal is set to 1lb loss a week already. Yeah I am set to sedentary, even with the kids.....I wouldn't describe my lifestyle as lightly active. Will try…
  • Thanks for replies. I'm pretty much bang on my 1200 cals every day. Maybe I should be eating little and often to keep up my energy levels though. I think I definitely need some extra vitamins.....will get some b€rocc@ boost tomorrow.
  • I'm in love with this game. I live in Ireland and have two kids. So always bad weather and not a lot of me-time. Zumba on Wii suits me perfectly because I can do it at home when my dp is here to watch the kids in the evenings. It's also the first exercise I've ever tried that I ENJOY!! Anyone who feels self concious doing…
  • I find the weigh in on wii fit one of the best things about it. I need to resist temptation to weigh in more than once a week though! When I used to go to weight watchers meetings my weight was always the same as the wii fit scales so I think it's accurate. No need to buy another scales.
