There are loads of people on here who do it, I'm one of them. I tend to do a 40 minute intermediate class when I'm having a rest day from Jillian Michaels ;) At least Zumba doesn't shout at me!! I love it...and yes I've seen results from it, I have it since January.

When I was 15 I was very underweight. I just never ate much and was very active. I started going out with someone who loved food at 16, and I put on some weight. I was finally a healthy weight for my height. I had my first child at 19, gained a stupid amount of weight. Lost it all within 9 months of giving birth, without…

After reading this thread I am DEFINITELY going to talk to my doctor about changing from lexapro. I've been on it twice before, but this stint has been my longest so far, 2 years. I can lose weight on it no problem, but not as fast, and the lack of libido is a killer.
-
^^^ snap! Also lost libido completely and so on horny goat weed supplements to try fix that problem.
-
Exactly! Today I have 1677 calories because I WORKED for 477 of them.

My kids think I'm "really old". They ask "was tv black and white in the old days? did you have toys when you were little?". I am TWENTY SIX. My kids are 7 and 2 and think I'm ancient. When I was 17 everyone over 25 was old and boring. Don't worry!

Carbs are bad. No, they're not. Complex carbs are good for you. And simple carbs can be good for the soul

When I stick to my 1200 net I lost weight. Some days I only burn 200 cals, today I burnt almost 500. I'll eat some back, not all because I could be over/under estimating food/exercise. When I read posts like this in the past it made me panic, google stuff, I made changes....and my weight loss stopped. So to summarise,…

Not where I come from it ain't.

You are WRONG. The sky is GREY where I live. And yes I spelt it grey because GRAY is WRONG. ugh.

Today's dinner is Irish stew, with beef, potatoes, swede, carrots, parsnips, onions...all in oxtail soup. I wouldn't even know HOW to count the calories per portion, so I'll probably have some scrambled eggs later.
-
I eat chicken around 3 times a week for dinner, and most days for lunch. My fiance wouldn't eat it that often though. The only 'meat' I eat is chicken, don't do beef/pork/lamb etc.... So fiance and kids usually have a different dinner to me (if I'm not having chicken I'll have eggs) so they get the variety they want, and…

I find Lipotrim a bit insane. You literally eat nothing and just drink those stupid sachets. http://www.lipotrim.co.uk/ And the stupidest thing about that diet is how expensive it is. It's around €70 a week. I shop for a family of 4 for a week for only €100. My Aunt has done lipotrim a few times, and she's lost weight. But…

50' I would never want to live to 100 years old. You could end up with dementia, all of your family could be dead, you could outlive your children. NO THANKS!! I'd rather live to about 70 and keep my marbles.
-
I doubt it. I'm not single anyway, I'm in a relationship....but if I was single I probably wouldn't because almost everyone on this site lives thousands of miles away from me, and you can't have that.

^^^ This. I think our summer fell on a Tuesday last year. Wonder what day it will be this year?
-
Yelly you can do it babe, I'll be on your back hounding you if you don't log on here :) (a stone is 14lbs)

There is nothing I love more than a glass of white zinfandel. But I've pretty much cut it out since new years day. I mix half a glass with some diet 7up to make a spritzer so there's less calories when I do give in to a glass (or 3) though.
-
Exactly. We're figments of your imagination. And you are a figment of my imagination.

It's the 7th of March, so I guess we've all stuck with our resolution!
-
I started on 1st of Jan, but I've had a few wobbles. I slipped a disc in my back and couldn't work out for 9 days....and I fell off the diet wagon during that time too. I've lost 14lbs (my ticker includes the 11lbs I lost last January too and managed to keep off). I'm not weighing in again until April, and I have around…

I don't know who or what incident(s) you're referring to, but you will find rude people on every forum sadly. People who are very brave and nasty when hiding behind their laptop. I've actually found MFP to be a lot friendlier than some.....
-
I get a grilled chicken caeser salad without croutons or dressing and it's 180 cals. Then if I feel like it I also get a small fries which is 230 cals. So 410 cals + a bottle of water, and I feel like I've had something 'bad', but I haven't. Mcdonalds would actually be my first choice fast food place *because* they have…

I workout in the evening, shower after, and straight into my pjs.

I suffer with anxiety (and also depression, but the anxiety is more severe). The only thing that helps me is meds I'm sorry to say. I'll add you now. If you want to talk pm me.

It fills you up, flushes out toxins and stops you retaining too much water. So YES, it does help you lose weight. Also, zero calories compared to whatever calories would be in alternative drinks. I just drink a certain amount each day, I don't think it matters what time I drink at. I always drink around a litre just after…

I log everything, no matter how bad it is (I logged a piece of toblerone I had for breakfast yesterday). That's why I'm on this site, to use the diary. And I always, always hit "complete this entry", it's a way of stopping myself snacking again before bed  .

Since 1st of Jan I have lost 14lbs. The first 11lbs were in January, lost very little in February as I had a back injury and was also plateau-ing. The only exercise I'm able to do (two kids, partner works 15 hour days) are the 30 day shred and Zumba on the wii. Sometimes wii fit, but it's very boring. So I stick to my cals…

I've learned that I'm a happier person when I feel in control of my diet and exercise. Everyone comments on it, this is my second stint on MFP and this time I'm not allowed to quit lol. I've learned that Jillian michaels is not satisfied until you feel like you're about to die. I've learned that sometimes you can track…

Just worked out I'd be saving €40 a week, and my fiance would be saving about €70. So that's €440 every 4 weeks. And we think we can't afford to get married yet? We can't afford to SMOKE!! I'm going to find out where I can get e-cigs here in Ireland and my quit date is going to be 12th March. Thanks for all of your stories…
