  • I do appreciate the support from all of you and I can take critics, I agree the booze has got to be reduced or eliminated. Trying to get results too fast, will eat more for energy and change up my food choices.

  • MDanca, thank you for the support, I am going to try it again, maybe slower, I have been on diets pretty well all of my life. I was tired of the counting, meal plans etc....I was not sleeping due to Restless leg syndrome. Been on meds for a week, just starting to kick in. Getting better sleep, more energy....but not 100%.…

  • Have had a food scale forever.....not the problem.....many diets.....they all worked.....maintenance did not work....I have do start over and that is the problem.....cant find the strength or will to do it again......appreciate all the help....

  • Just keep doing what is working for you.
  • Do not fear the scale......just the number. The scale is your friend when the number goes down.....it does not cause the number to go up......its you........I weigh every day and have learned to accept the daily result.
  • I see nothing wrong with drinking or eating. However 2 days of celebrating excessively can lead us back to the dark side. If we have been here before then we could come back. Addicts sometimes fall off the wagon.

  • If you keep gaining weight after you stop counting calories then the obvious is we should always count calories.
  • expecting and deserving are very different. we deserve to be overweight.......we expect to lose weight on MFP......it is not more excercise that will get you there.....ne honest with yourself, weigh all your food and log all your intake....takes time what is the rush??? Good Luck
