If you placed the scale on more than one tile, the scale may not be balanced right. There might be differences in the level of the tiles that you might not notice, but your scale does. Or, if a corner of the scale was resting over a grout line. All of that could cause inconsistencies.

I'm 5'10". People who hadn't seen me anywhere from a couple of months to a couple of years were really wowed after I went from 205 to 170. It's been slow, but I'm still on my way :)
