  • I'm going to give these a try. I'm using balsamic vinegar and they are soaking right now!....I like the pickle juice idea too, as I have sugar free bread and butter pickles!
  • I log the whole tablespoon of oil when I pop corn on the stove. There isn't much residue left in the pot when it is done popping so it must be in the popcorn :)
  • OMG what a fabulous role model! You're fantastic, thanks so much for posting :flowerforyou:
  • I'd like to join! I don't want to be the only edible thing left that is catchable when the acopolypse happens!!! :noway:
  • I'm on day 3 of week 2 of C25K. Each day I've kind of dreaded it, being afraid of failure. Today I nailed it and felt good at the end! I'm actually looking forward to starting week 3!
  • That is amazing! I guessed you'd lost at least 20 lbs. Just another testament to taking the scale weight with a grain of salt. Wow! Great work!
  • It seems like chondromalacia is catchall term for pain under the kneecap and can be caused by a lot of different things. I have for years had pain in knees if I sit too long and then stabs under kneecap when the leg bears weight and knee is bent at a certain angle. I went to a doctor years ago and got xrays and he just…
  • I just did week2 day 3! It went great! Day 2 a couple of days ago seemed harder than the first day of the week did and on the last interval I leaned on the handrails of the treadmill, but today I felt strong! I was trying to figure out an app on my phone which allows me to play my own playlist and the app dims the music…
  • I've twice now made a recipe almost identical to this one. The only real difference is the recipe I use uses regular flour. I halve the recipe. I make 6 smallish "hamburger" shaped patties and I eat them like hamburgers on those little 120 cal Ball park hamburger buns. I like them dressed up just like hamburgers. Or just…

  • Sometimes I'll use my digital scale instead of a measuring spoon for things like peanut butter. If I am going to put peanut butter on a piece of bread, I put the bread on the scale, then turn it on, so it says 0 with the bread on it, then put the peanut butter on until the scale says whatever a serving is supposed to…
  • Try YouTube and type in "inner thigh resistance band"...I see a few on there :) or google! Here is one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8yZuRSc9Gs good luck!
  • Wow, this binge/starve cycle explains perfectly what happened to me last week. For about a month I'd been pretty consistently having a much larger deficit than is recommended "biggest loser" style (although not to that extreme lol). Last Friday I felt lethargic and then later in the day starving and lay around all day and…
  • You are amazing and beautiful!!! Thanks so much for posting, so inspirational!
  • What an inspiration...you look fantastic. Thanks for posting!
  • Wow...that is an amazing difference in just two months! Great job. I'm trying to follow in your footsteps but its going a lot slower! We'll all get there though if we keep at it!
  • That's cool! I spend a lot of time on the computer at home. I have a treadmill and made a simple desk for it to put my laptop on and just got Skyrim yesterday and am playing it while walking on the treadmill. It is slow walking but has to be better than sitting! And more in line with your suggestion, two days ago I was…
  • Thank you for posting..so inspirational!
  • I periodically get hooked on caffeine and weaning myself off works for me. I just wait til I feel the slightest bit of that headache and drink a cup and maybe take some aspirin and in a few days I'm off the stuff! Good luck, the headaches are horrible if you let them get going, that is for sure!
  • Gratz on starting the program! I just did week 2 day 2 and I have a bodymedia Fit amrband and it says I burned 370 calories during that time period. My treadmill readout says it was 270 calories however its not accounting for my weight which is about 250 lbs. I think the bodymedia fit count sounds reasonable but am not…
  • Way to go!! You rock!

  • He's saying that ok...lets say I burn 80 calories per hour sitting around, and 400 while doing some kind of exercise. The 80 was already included in the pre-exercise calories that MFP recommended to you to eat. If my HRM or some other indicator says that I burned 400 calories in an hour doing the exercise, then it really…
  • I think I understand what you are asking. My base calories to eat is 1500. If I sit around doing nothing while awake I burn about 80 calories in an hour (I have a Bodymedia Fit and that is what it says anyway). If I do an hour of walking and burn 400 calories going by what my treadmill or hrm monitor says (they agree with…
  • You go girl! That is awesome! I just did w2d2 and the last interval about killed me. I can't imagine being able to run 3 minutes straight let alone 5 at the moment lol! Keep up the good work!
  • I've tried to like regular yogurt with fruit and such in it, but something about the texture turns me off. I love some brands of plain greek yogurt though. It is amazing how different the different brands taste to me. Fage 2% is my favorite. Even so, I don't like just eating it with fruit or honey etc in it. I only really…
  • ...drool  :blushing:
  • Holy cow opus, you're really moving out with that speed! I just did w2d1 and was a bit worried beforehand. When I did w1d3, it was harder than the previous 2 days had been for me. My left calf cramped up (this is a recurring thing with that calf) and I actually had to stop and stretch 2 times and even with that was really…
  • I've just started and I'm just sitting here trying to psych myself up for week 1 day 3. I'm about 250 lbs at 5'7". I am doing it on my treadmill and am only "jogging" at 4.0 mph. I haven't been doing it long enough to feel any improvements and find it hard to believe that I would be able to jog much longer than 1 minute at…
  • I like to mix about a tablespoon of butter and 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar (this is for a huge tub of popcorn) in a pan and simmer it while the popcorn is popping. Then trickle it over the popped popcorn and sprinkle on some salt...yum. It works ok without the butter too. To be really decadent I would use more butter and also…
  • Amazing! Congratulations and thanks for the inspiration!
