Haven't heard anything but I don't drink coffee and never have. Can't stand the taste lol

Welcome! I also have 2 kids. I started to lose weight and lost about 20 pounds and then I found out I was pregnant. As soon as my doctor released me, I started working out again. I gained 65 pounds with my first, dropped 20 and then gained 50 pounds. My body doesn't react well to pregnancies. Good luck!

I use a heartrate moniter and manually enter it in my exercises.

The only reason I quit before was because I just found out I was pregnant but once I was cleared by my doctor 10 months later I started again. I have taken a couple breaks here and there because life gets crazy busy running around doing other things every day but starting back up isn't that hard for me. I am more than…

For me, I have to make myself start every day....at least at that TOM. and today I have failed but I will end up at least working out

I have a set of 5 pound weights that I use and have used a set of 3 pound weights. I would start small and work yourself up. As long as you can keep good form with the heavier weights go ahead and keep going up. The weight of the weights don't matter as much as your form does.

I was just about to say this same thing about your core. When you are lifting focus on good form and hold your core steady to work your tummy muscles. Like previous posters have said, muscle burns fat.

Welcome! I love snacking too and I grew up in a family of snackers. What I do is wash and set out carrot, celery, broccoli and such to snack on. I tend to go for the quick and easy snacks and if they're sitting on the counter that's what I grab. It's much better for you than cookies, cakes, candies and crackers (my faves)…

Welcome and good luck! :)

I would ask your doctor. When I have mono I am beat and all I want to do is sleep.

I took a 2 month break from counting calories and exercising and I still lost weight, in fact 9 pounds. But I had been counting calories off and on for over a year so knowing to check labels has become a habit. I don't diet so I don't have cheat days. I refuse to completely give up the foods I love but instead learn…

I will also be your friend. :) And welcome to MFP!

This is what I do because I am not willing to never have a cheeseburger again. If your calories allow it and you really want it then go ahead. As long as you aren't over indulging and eating it all the time you will be fine. What is going to happen when you get to your goal and someone sets a pork sandwich in front of you.…

HRM. According to MFP I would be burning way less calories. Is it bad to leave about 700 calories a day when I'm not hungry? That's a lot of food to eat when I'm not hungry! lol
-
I try to eat as much back as I can but when I'm not hungry I don't. lol
-
I would say to cut out (not completely though) a lot of your sugars and add fruits and nuts. Really read the labels too. Maybe burn less calories during the day as well...if you are having trouble eating your goal calories. And as for making the veggies taste better... You could try some salt free seasonings

I use a heartrate moniter and add it as one of my exercises. It takes my age, height, weight and sex to figure my calories burned more accurately

Apple juice and prune juice along with a walk uphill. Never fails for me.
-
All you can really do is keep it up and don't give up. Your hard work will pay off in the end. :)
-
I have an elliptical. I also got a heartrate moniter and used it to see what was more accurate and my elliptical was right on with my heartrate moniter but that may be different for others.
-
I know what that is like. I seem to go in spurts like that. Feel free to add me if you would like :)

I've gotten a few pairs of lounge shorts and a tank top. Other than that I wear shorts and a t-shirt. Can't stand the tank top I bought. lol
-
You can add me. I'm 23 and also would like some accountablilty and encouragment. :)

I have the same thing going on with me. I just try to ignore my symptoms and do my workout dvds. Taking breaks to get some water for my dry throat and to blow my nose. I haven't really had time to go get something for my symptoms so I work around them.
-
I would have to agree with this.
-
I honestly would gain muscle...since muscle burns fat causing you to lose weight in the long run (muscle weighs more than fat). All in all...you're doing the same thing at the same time putting yourself that much closer to your goal :) Good luck! Not that far to go!

Possibly that it has been pounded into your brain. I mean, you don't just lose 70 pounds overnight. Or even in a month. At least I haven't. It takes a long time to lose that much weight and your focus while losing weight is that number and you won't accept anything less in your mind. I may say that I'll be happy at 110-115…

I have had Amythist and Aeropostale (my faves right now). Everyone I know loves Silver. They are all different shapes and sizes as well. I personally haven't tried them out since they aren't that cheap. You can get them at Gordmans for about $40. You can also get them at The Buckle and Vanity but they are a lot more…

I drink it for a sore throat. I put pepper and a little salt in it. It will help my throat feel better.
