A HRM is not accurate to wear in that way. They are only designed to record steady state cardio so ignore that reading for work as it's meaningless. If you still feel hungry and are struggling set your weightloss goal lower to 1 pound or .5 pound a week which will give you more calories. If you start to maintain just lower…

Because MFP already calculate a calorie deficit in your normal calorie goal and it is designed for you to eat those exercise calories back to ensure adequate nutrition. The reason 50% was suggested is to take into account any errors in that calculation…

No a tasty open wrap. You keep using the word pizza I do not think you understand the meaning of that word
-
you're eating too much it's that simple. You're probably eating far more than you think or counting calories inaccurately.

All your posts seem to be about trying one or another fad diet that you've seen some celebrity endorse. How about eating normal food at a calorie deficit. There are no miracle fixes it's just eat less food and move some more. Good luck…

I use dates and banana chips. I do however use electrolyte replacement tablets in water for long runs to replace salts. Personally I don't normally use anything below around 10 miles or if it's really hot. I know other people who need to eat a lot earlier. Just experiment with what will work for you. Google there's a lot…

Just convert it. Some do contain the sodium amount it depends on the label. It's very easy to convert. GOOGLE

Why do something that is obviously un sustainable for you. How about just eating normal foods at a calorie deficit? Just an off the wall idea http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1175494-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants?hl=guide+to+sexypants&page=1#posts-18361594

Well I eat around 60% carbs (around 400-500g most days) as you can see I've no problem losing weight. I got fat as a Vegan and I'm now a thinnish Vegan. I hope you didn't pay any money to see that nutritionist. Just eat less food at a calorie deficit that's it it's that simple

No 1200 net won't kill you but considering the ops activity and stats they can eat a lot more still lose weight in a way more sustainable way. The idea should be to eat as much as you can and lose weight not the opposite. If you fuel your body better you work out better and are more likely to keep the weight off long term.…

so you've dragged this 2 year old thread up from the grave and you've not even provided links to these studies

I hit 100g of protein with absolutely no problem from my normal diet as I said people over complicate it. It really isn't difficult. An awful ot of sources push far more Protein than is really needed. For a sedentary person the recommended amount is .8g per KIlo which isn't that much for endurance athletes the amount is…

You're an 18 year old man with only 20 pounds to lose you should be eating far more probably nearer 2000 calories. All you're going to achieve by under eating is lose more muscle mass and not be able to work out to your best and many other doohickey's Have a look at the link it will help set more reasonable goals…
-
Put a Jumper/Top on. Just a thought you could try that or some other Doohickey

Hi Eric, I started at 333 pounds and you'll be amazed at how quickly the time passes. As you say one day at a time. A couple of links that may help you Good Luck and just concentrate on the big picture and the Doohickey will take care of itself…

One word 'Scurvy' and another word 'Doohickey'

I like Matt Fitzgerald but I will say he is cherry picking a lot of studies there. As there is quite a bit of quality research disputing some of what he is saying. I'm not saying he's wrong I'm just saying he's approached his article with the idea that fat is good and looked for research saying that. Rather than going out…

You're over complicating it you don't need cleanses or special food. Just eat normal food but less of it yes it's that simple. It's good to introduce a good variety of foods for overall health but generally it's just eating less food. The reason you've failed in the past is you are going from fad to fad from juicing to…

Oh to be 18 and know everything
-
So why are you dragging a year old thread from the grave?
-
Congratulations on your loss. As others have said considering the amount you have to lose I wouldn't be worried it will slow down at some point
-
The correct way is what works for you. I normally don't even think about it. Maybe you're over thinking a little

Cotton is the worst thing you can wear. It holds moisture. So unless you want to be chaffed within an inch of your life avoid it also gets heavy as it gets wet. Go for manmade technical fibres. As much as you can get cheaper brands that will be made of similar materials go for the best you can afford you'll find the finish…

Just agree then do it your own way ;-)
-
I'm dissapointed

A hear rate monitor will only be accurate for steady state cardio so is pretty useless for these things. Just change you activity level accordingly. When I moved house I just put my activity level up for a couple of weeks to compensate'

Define 'safe'

Now that has made my day! Does it work with other dog foods as well?

Are you going to give up on life then, because hey it's life and it's not perfect and not everything goes to plan. You didn't get fat because of one cup of noodles. Step back have a look at what you're doing is the way you're going about this too extreme or restrictive? Is that why you always quit. Maybe have a look at…
