Feel free to add me. I'm around most days

People over use the words 'Addiction' and 'eating disorder'. It sounds like you have a problem with impulse control. If you are are really worried about this issue maybe seek some professional help or counseling. Good luck

I like you I wonder what would happen if all the mean people just agreed with all the ridiculous ideas that people post on a daily basis?

Cotton is one of the worst things you can wear when running it holds all the misture so unless you want to be chaffed within an inch of your life don't do it. Go for technical man made tops http://running.about.com/od/getstartedwithrunning/ss/14-Things-Every-New-Runner-Should-Know_2.htm

We're still waiting for the examples of meaness from that thread? Or aren't you going to back up that accusation. Also why the need to create a new account to do this? you've still not answered that question either? I await the deafening silence to those questions or am I being mean by asking them?
-
No it would be you backing up an accusation. Unless you are unable to do that? If so end of thread

This thread is 3 years old!!!

Well that's your choice but if you actually look at what these mean people are saying you will find that they are the ones that have lost a lot weight and kept it off and that those who keep starting the 'mean people' threads are the ones who keep asking for help but then get all upset when the advice doesn't agree with…

So why does it say below your Avatar Joined September 2014? Trolling for a mean people thread me thinks

Go and see a doctor. It seems your just st there guessing what could possibly be wrong. So rather than randomly pick causes see a doctor. As a life long migraine sufferer often it's impossible to tell the cause but your more likely to get something that could stop them if you actually go and speak to a medical professional…

I think maybe you need to take a stepback and read what has been written and what you have written. I came to this thread late and as far as I can see you have asked a question that it is impossible to answer which people have said numerous times. You have then taken offense because of that. It seems that you are reading…

Light cleaning is what I do at night so I can see

I'm thinking you need to step back and get some perspective . You've lost 20 pounds and put on .2 pounds so you've put on a glass of water!! Your body naturally fluctuates (up to 5 pounds a day) get used to it otherwise you'll drive yourself insane Continue what you're doing and calm down

To me my reward is better health and fitness and many pairs of running shoes:-) My motivation doesn't work the reward route because it takes my mind off the reason I've been doing this. the reason I've done it is for my overall health and wellbeing not for some 'reward'. That's just how my brain and motivation works and…

What happens if you lose your Marbles? ;-) Anything that motivates you is a great Idea and motivational tool

This is why I'm a runner!!

Now that's the best post of the day. OP it's just normal fluctuations weigh less often if they bother you. I'm 3 pounds lighter than yesterday in all likelihood I'll be heavier tomorrow. Just follow the trends

Personally I hate things around my waist. They rub and get very uncomfortable. Anything below 6 miles that I need water on I use a handheld (you get used to carrying them and many have sections for phones). Anything over that or trail runs I use a camelbak which once you get used to you don't really notice and has room to…

If you like it drink it. If you don't don't Personally I think it tastes like someone has soaked old socks in water for years and then want to call it refreshing. I'll stick with other things that taste good I'm sure they'll be another faddy miracle drink soon maybe sea water ;-)

I think the problem is you've said is that you want to go 'sugar free', which not only being impractical is impossible. Your body runs on sugar in it's many forms some it makes itself some you ingest. There is a form of sugar in almost everything and your brain needs it just to function. This thread may have got gone…

Eat something then. You have 190 pounds to lose so your calorie goal should be pretty high and also your exercise calories (which you should be eating back) will be substantial so you should be able to eat enough to stave off this hunger I'll give you this link just in case you've set your calorie goal lower than it needs…
-
Surely that's what you want if your not eating enough. If you're only eating 900 calories that is neither healthy or balanced despite what you think. I suggest going back and seeing the Dr/Medical professional who's helping you deal with this in order to get strategies to eat a healthy amount of food

Stop weighing yourself everyday. Unless you can handle the normal fluctuations (which it sounds like you cant) weigh less often. Your body can vary 4 to 5 pounds daily (over 2kgs) so 500g is nothing. Weigh less often and follow the trends not the absolute number
-
So he eats less calories and loses weight. Not exactly a surprise or shock news. How those calories are made up is inconsequential to his weightloss

Unless it looks like it's going to kill you which is unlikely. Stop and say hello. 99% of dogs just want to play and say hello if you run they see you as something to chase. I come across dogs on most runs just because of where i run. I stop for a few seconds and say HI to them and they're fine. IMO half the problem is…

My guess is you're restricting yourself too much. 1200 calories by any chance? Most people can eat far more and still lose weight. Don't get hung up on 'Healthy' foods. Food is just food it all has it's place go for balance rather than restriction. Around 80% of my diet is what people would consider healthy but I do eat…
-
Going on the Huffington Post's idea of science my weightloss should be accredited to the can of Pepsi Max I drink most days and the fact I pick up after my dogs on a daily basis. Obviously these are linked ;-) What I find funny is the OP doesn't trust diet soda which there is no hard evidence from peer reviewed studies do…

So do you think if you keep posting the same idea someone may actually tell you it's a good idea? It's sad that all these posts are always from 18 year old girls. I think maybe you should go and see your Doctor or a medical professional and address the obvious issues you have around food and dieting. That will be more…

MFP uses the neat method. It does not take into account exercise calories which you are meant to eat back. Most online calculators seem to include exercise within the total (TDEE method) so therefore get initially a higher calorie goal. Adding your exercise to the MFP total will likely give you a similar total
