Hypo - low, dead, almost non existent...then when they give me meds it rages in the opposite direction so I have to run slow in order to keep the heart palpitations under control. This is why I am leaning toward weight training...so many people say it is good for getting your metabolism in line, right?? And, correct...no…

Thanks! I am expecting a bit of an initial gain, but I don't want to go too far UP!

Oh for crap sake, this is brilliant! :drinker: I am always trying to divvy it up in equal servings or use some stupid kind of cups/quarts eyeball measurement....Just weigh the empty pan, cook, weigh the result, shazam! You made my night! LOL

Awesome observation by your nutritionist. I found I had the most problems shopping for clothes! I don't know what I like ore what stores to shop in anymore because I don't want to wear big ole shirts that hang over my now thin waistline...finding Jeans is like a full time job!! I am really a mess at a department…

This thread is schizophrenic!!! And I don't know what to use for bait when fishing on a computer...cyberworms??

I use the liquid and the crystals - I am bothered by many artificial sweetners - massive headaches from Nutrisweet & Sweet & low, massive digestion issues from Splenda. I use Truvia once or twice a day and have found no side effects after about a year of using it. I think the crystals are the better choice and as soon as…

Wow! Great job and thanks for working this up for us! now i can just "quick add" about 4,800 cals for the meal as i can't stop at one serving of anything! :drinker: I think our internet will be down on Thanksgiving day...

Fat free greek yogurt mixed with cinnamon and french vanilla stevia drops, then slice an apple and dip. Reminds me of the cream cheese, brown suger dip that you get with fruit trays. I like anything i can dip! LOL

That is a poop ton of exercise! No wonder your TTDE is so high- good for you! I am starting a heavy lifting class on the 12th - excited and scared - i don't want to look like a complete fool, so i am paying a trainer! I am really close to goal weight, but i need to change my body comp so i can get rid of this stinking…

No judging!! That is an awesome thing you are doing...keep up the good work!

JMc & Cindy...are they wrist bands or the clip on the shirt kind? I haven't bought one becasue i can't decide what to get! LOL

This would be really hard for me...just my opinion...I start getting into trouble if I try to change things on a daily basis. How may days per week will you excercise on average?? Plug that number in at http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html and use it as your base to figure the average amount of…

I am overweight specifically due to a binge mentatlity, I will literally eat until I feel sick. It is a bit disgusting and I have a very difficult time with it during the holidays. If the food is not there, i don't crave it and I will not eat it, but once it is in the house it seems to be fair game. I do believe that one…

yep, circuit training. I didn't give myself the full 27 minutes, though. Like you, I had to take a lot of breaks to BREATH the first few weeks, so I would only log 20 minutes, then worked up until i didn't take breaks anymore.

If you have a Moe's or Chipoltle, their salads are fantastic and if you leave off the rice (very calorie heavy) then you can do it in less than 450 if you use salsa as salad dressing.

These ARE good ideas! I eat most of my carbs before my work out so I am always looking for lower carb dinner ideas that can be expanded to suit everyone. Carbs make me binge, so to stay away from them at home seems to keep me on my calorie goal for the day! This week I am making beef stew in the crock pot with no potatoes…

just...yum!

This is right....you will see folks say "eat your exercise calories" - this is what they mean. Keep in mind that MFP tends to estimate calorie BURN a bit high. That is my opinion, anyway...so I never eat ALL the calories back. I do a boot camp class twice a week, an hour on the elliptical once a week and a good three mile…

Even I know the OP is joking...He posted this under "chit chat, fun & games"...

No reason not to...you have a huge calorie allotment per day, so what the heck. as long as there is plenty of other fruit, veg and protien in your week, go for it! I, on the other hand, only get 1,400 a day (big tyroid problem and insulin resistant) so eating suger isn't on my plan...that doesn't mean I won't waste a few…

I watched my 50 year old bodybuilding father who won the AAU/Natural Mr. America contest pick up the engine end of a volkswagen bug - tires off the ground and all. I don't think he was very strong, do you??

As each season passes, i donate the big stuff. I have kept the absolute biggest pair of jeans just to see where i came from.

AGREED! I had to change a LOT about what I do on the weekends...I did it slowly, one meal at a time till I only have a few drinks with whatever I want for dinner on Saturday night and that is IT. The rest of the weekend I am logging and exercising. I also learned that I binge eat when I drink...I found myself standing in…

And it seems you lost it in all the right places! Good for you - awesome pics!
