Looking great! Keep up the good work!

You look fabulous! Can believe the dramatic changes with only 27 lbs. Beautiful!

Having a defined waist is great! How else are you going to have an hour-glass figure?!?

Agreed. If you choose to eat the second half in the coming days, then just remember to plan your calories accordingly, and don't feel guilty about it. The way I see it... if you're going to feel guilty, then you may as well throw it away.

I hear ya. As far as "What's the point?" The point is that this is a lifestyle change, and not a diet (hopefully). The weight may come off slowly, but if you give it time, it will come off! This is merely the beginning of a healthy lifestyle, so you've got plenty of time for the lbs to come off! Keep up the good fight!

Great job. Can definitely see a difference, especially in the side shot.

It's hard to give valuable advice w/o seeing how your diary. I can say, however, that I love the boots you're wearing in you profile pic! :)

Great job! I definitely see a difference in your tummy! Keep up the good work!

There's definitely a difference, but you're kinda comparing apples and oranges in these pics - regular clothes in the befores and shape hugging work out clothes in the afters... The clothes are supposed to fit differently, so its hard to really see what role the clothes are playing verse you new and improved figure. Maybe…

Totally have the Hokey Pokey in my head now. May as well start shaking all about!

Read this years ago. Loved it! He's got several other books as well, and I've heard they're just as good :) I'd also recommend "The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair that Changed America." by Erik Larson. "Larson tells the stories of two men: Daniel H. Burnham, the architect responsible for…

I'm sure you were beaming! I would have been! Keep up the great work!

That's an awesome loss! Great job! Just be sure to keep your expectations realistic so you don't fall of the wagon in the future. Here's a thread I've found very helpful in helping to manage expectations, and hopefully stay stronger in the long run. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/9433-expectations

You look amazing! Do you do a lot of strength training? I ask because it looks like you lost more than 44 lbs! So I'm thinking you've got some nice muscle tone developing! Thanks for sharing!!!

You look fabulous! This is just a minor setback. Stick with it, and be proud of yourself!!!

You get the starvation warning if you're under 1200 calories for the day (NOT NET). If you've got a daily goal over 1200 or have added to your daily goal through exercise, then you can still be under your goal and not get the starvation warning. I'm a shorty (4'11) and my daily goal of 1200 calories puts me at a weight…

Week 4 kicked my *kitten*!!! Prior to that week, I had been increasing my speed with each run, and I could no longer sustain the higher speed for the longer durations. I repeated week 4 at the lower speed and have been pushing through ever since. My focus is on endurance rather than speed. I figure there is plenty of time…

Fat is really helpful in helping you feel satiated. By having everything lowfat/no fat, I bet you're causing yourself to be hungrier than you would if you included some of these higher calorie foods. Maybe get rid of the "No fat" stuff... it tends to be pretty tasteless (and more processed) anyway. That said, I decided to…

Your dress looks great! I'm so jealous of your sewing skills! You sound like you're hitting a bit of a rough patch, so I thought I'd share a link I just recently learned about. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/9433-expectations You can do this! Now, go and have a fantastic time at the wedding!

You look fantastic! I actually can't see where you could lose another 40 lbs from - I guess it's hiding under your loose shirt and the jacket that's wrapped around your waste. Way to go! Keep up the great work!

I agree with sweetheart in that body fat percentage is probably the best way to go. However, if you do have access to a means of measuring this along your journey, I think it's fine to use BMI as a guide. Besides I imagine it's pretty difficult to predict the weight you will be with a given body fat, especially for a…

I throw in some frozen broccoli when I make that. Great way to get a serving of veges along with the mac(shells) and cheese.
