I haven't witnessed any flirting yet, but I'll be sure to keep a look out! Great thread!

Just for today, I will cherish my sense of accomplishment for how far I'm come in my C25K journey. :)

Kudos for cutting down on your soda. 2-3 cans is a lot better than 6-8 cans. And with continued effort, the soda will become a treat you have once in a while, rather than an every day occurrence. If you cut out the empty soda calories, you'll be able to eat much more throughout the day. Like others have said, I think you…

Since I started MFP in early Jan, the time I spend on facebook has greatly decreased... Only problem is, I find that I'm spending just as much time here as I was spending there! Swapped in one drug for another, I guess! As for why it's better? It motivates me to become the runner / and all around fit person I want to be,…

Love them. In addition to salads, I also through them in when I make pasta and sauce - it' adds a bit of protein to the dish!

Hi, Have you listed yourself as having an active lifestyle - excluding the exercises you enter into the database? This would include the lifestyle of a teacher, janitor, etc - someone who is up and down all day long. Or maybe very active, i.e. a postal worker who walks his route. If so, these will certainly increase your…

A lot of people, me included, enter it as "circuit training." I enter as only a 20 minute workout, but I've seen others put it at 25 minutes. I figure the "actual" workout is only 18 minutes[(3+2+1) x 3], - and that the warm-up and cool-down is pretty quick. To each their own, though.

Great job! Keep up the good work!

My sister-in-law got heavily into palates before she got married, and after she bought her dress. Because of this she was building up her core. Apparently, she did this to the point where her dress was no longer fitting correctly. I believe the seamstress told her that she should cut down on the palates so the dress would…

Good for you! You'll definitely be wearing them comfortably by the end of Feb... they may even be too big for you by the end of Feb!

Lately, I'm a big fan of vodka tonics. :)

I like "Arrowhead Mills - Organic Creamy Valencia Peanut Butter" It's got nothing but peanuts inside (It may have salt, but I can't recall). I'm sure an truly natural peanut butter will be good though. Make sure the ingredients include nothing but peanuts (and salt if you want). Any other ingredients would likely go to…

You look fantastic!

Agreed. I can't say what time of day/order in your workout provides the most optimal burn, but the fact of the matter is that exercise that takes place, no matter what the time of day, is better than the exercise that doesn't take place. The inclination to exercise does not come naturally to me, so I'm best of taking…

Totally agree. I've never actually seen his show, but the thing about TV doctors, therapist, etc. is that in an attempt to reach the largest audience they are forced to speak broadly. There are so many caveats to any medical recommendation, and medical research has new findings every day that we need to take all the advice…

I put a spoon full of all natural peanut butter in my oatmeal. It adds that extra bit of protein :)

Another thought crossed my mind... Are you an emotional eater? Some people eat when their happy, and so gain wait when things are good. If you find that you're eating too many calories (and this happens mostly when you're in a good mental state) you may want to start keeping track of your emotional triggers, and redirect…

Sounds good... How are they on calories/nutrition?

Pounds definitely fluctuate for a million reasons. If your not convinced that its due to your hard work, then you maybe your better off forgetting about the scale and sticking to the results you see from your measurements. That said, I bet a good portion of those 3.4 lbs lost are do to your efforts. Keep it up!

Thanks for sharing! I guess if I want a blueberry muffin, I'll have to make them myself - from scratch!

Being 4'11" (rounded up), I used to say that you're not short unless you're under 5', making "short" an elite club. But times change, so I guess I'll relax my my club membership :flowerforyou: But I'll still take a lot of convincing that my clothes should be the same length as someone who is 5'4"

Thanks everyone! You all made me feel better about the week. @zbstngrl: I run on a treadmill. I like your idea of increasing the recovery... The important thing is the run (jog), so if walking longer helps me complete the run, then I've succeeded :) @dspearsb: I'll try to think of the little engine and keep chugging :)…

Congrats on winning him over. I'm sure it'll make things go more smoothly.

Love that site. Thanks for the warning!

Keep an eye on your fiber. Maybe an increase will help with the constipation. And of course, drink a lot of water. Does the Wellbutrin make you hungrier or do you feel like you have the same eating habits as before? The SSRI I'm on made me less hungry when first begun - but that normalized once my body adjusted (would have…

@kelynn - I'd never heard of that site before... looks like a good one :) Thanks for sharing.
