I lived in a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 people. Most of my roommates throughout the years I was there were just fine, but one was a bit of a partyer. Anyway... One night I wake up only to find him in my room. Sleepwalking (or maybe drunk). And naked. I call out his name and he wakes up only somewhat from his stupor, at…

I'm also 4'10.5 - usually round up to 4'11 ;) And I officially started my journey at 160. I now weigh 118 and am looking to lose a bit more and tone up (though that implies I'll get my butt back to exercising). You can absolutely do this! Sending you a friend request now!

That is AWESOME!!!!

Feel free to add me! I think logging just makes me more conscientious when selecting what I eat, so I don't see myself ever stopping it entirely.

You have NO reason to be disappointed with your progress. You are so much healthier than you where when you started!!! The difference in your face is apparent! Maybe you should change the way you plan your goals... instead of giving yourself a time period the achieve your goal, maybe you should just give yourself a…

Happy belated Birthday! Hope it was a great one! :drinker:

This. It's those side muscles that do it for me more so than the six-pack abs that usually come with them. I find this odd for some reason.

You look fantastic! We've made similar accomplishments. When I started MFP I wore a size 16 and weighed 160 (I'm 4 inches shorter than you - only 4'10"). I've since lost the same amount of weight as you, now weighing 118. You've inspired me to put up a good before and "during." - I want to see if I look as good as you! Now…

I hope you go - even if solo... Sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

Welcome and good luck! Just a word of advice... I think it's important to think of the changes your making as ongoing, so that even if you eat awfully (or don't exercise) on a given day or week, you're able to look at it as just a day or week in the bigger picture of your life, rather having feeling like you've altogether…

Why buy them? Borrow them from the library.

I've had one on the back of my wrist for 10+ years. It gets larger and smaller - probably based on use of my wrist, but only bothers me when it's particularly large (which hasn't been the case for a long time). I'd rest your wrist for a little while to see if the pain goes away. If the pain continues go to the doctor for…

I lived in a three bedroom apartment in Hoboken, NJ (a very transient town) for a number of years. I found many of my roommates on Craig's List. I may not have been best friends with many of them, but I never ended up living with any true psychos (that said, I believe there's a little crazy in all of us - and that's…

I didn't see your first posting, but you certainly look fabulous in these picture! Congrats, and keep up the great work!

You're proof positive that the scale is the devil! Your loss looks (and probably feels) like much more than 5 lbs! Keep up the great work and don't let the scale discourage you!

So inspiring!!!! You look absolutely gorgeous. Your smile is contagious! Do you mind if I ask what your goal weight is?
-

You look fantastic - healthy and happy! You're actually radiating in that last picture! Beautiful!

I'll have to give them a try! What do you usually have with them?
-
Pineapple, mustard, olives, anything pickled. Almost forgot... Root beer, black licorice (or anything with anis)

Love this movie!

Great stuff - just shared it on FB.

You look (and I bet feel) fabulous!! So glad to hear about your healthy changes! Keep up the great work!!!

That's awesome! Keep up the great work!!!

I had a "friend date" last night - someone I met on OK Cupid - but since he doesn't want children and I do (biological clock is tickin' and all), we decided to try friends instead... we met for ice cream last night and talked for a good two hours before it was time to part ways. It'll be nice to have a single friends in…

Great work! You look fantastic and adorable in your after picture! And you look like to you've returned to high school!!!!! Keep it up!

Yes. And NO. It's also important to make sure you're body gets enough nutrients to function properly and it's generally accepted that there is a minimum number of calories to enable adults to do this (I realize there is a lot of dissent as well). Unfortunately, this sometimes means we do need to eat even when we're not…

I wouldn't worry about eating them all back, though I'd probably try to eat at least a few hundred calories. Aything on top of that, I would only eat if I were hungry. Also, make sure that you're not overestimating your exercise calories... if you're going by MFP's calorie count it's good to be a bit conservative. MFP has…
