I don't take days off but I try to earn additional calories on the weekend and if I know what I am having for dinner, I usually enter those calories first and then figure out breakfast and lunch.

Its really the same thing. I am eating the same foods I ate with weight watchers and logging it like I did with weight watchers. Same thing without the cost. Some people need the meetings and accountability of weight watchers.

I like the idea of lower carbs, higher proteins but I did atkins and had success but it was just too restrictive and I didn't like feeling guilty if I had an apple!

I weigh most days too. The daily changes don't upset me but it makes me feel in control knowing I am going to check my weight everyday. Whatever the scale says on Thursday morning is the weight I enter into MFP.

Yes, its a good habit to get into to log everything. Some days I could have 300 calories worth of fruit and veggies.

I used it tonight. I was going out to dinner so beforehand I went to the restaurant's website and took down the calories of what I planned to eat, it was easier to just do a quick add of the calories but my nutrient numbers were off so that was a bummer.
