Thinking about seeing it one rainy afternoon this week. Not a big comic book fan, just like 3D on the big screen. Anyone care to comment on the 3D effects?

lol Thanks I started wearing my belt like that so the tag end didn't get in the way during deadlifts, now it's habit whenever I put it on.

You should see results by getting better at doing whatever you are doing in 6 weeks. Seeing in the mirror...will depend. You look great. Find a new trainer that will help you progress with your goals.

Daily is still a dream. 2x week is good for me but think more is better.

1 week til first PL meet, got 300lb squat (PR), BW 162. Hoping for a 2x BW squat at next meet sometime before the end of the year. https://youtu.be/EGIvdRUR080

The first few weeks to a month should be relatively easy. Video yourself and make sure your form is correct.

@krishna1abc Squat looks much, much better. Belly breathing just takes practice and conscious effort. Hips back to get bar over mid foot is a good cue. Just be aware of where you feel pressure in your foot. As long as you don't feel like you are on your toes or heels, you're good. Deadlift, I was miserable at conventional…

^ I too had too much weight on the bar before realizing I wasn't going low enough. I found something (I work out at home, used a small cooler) the right height so when my but touched it, I was at/below parallel. Not a true Box Squat, just as soon as I felt the cooler, start back up. As far as forward lean, doesn't seem…

^Bar path and hips don't look too bad. What needs work is depth and breathing. You are taking a big chest breath, take a belly breath and brace your core. I'd recommend dropping the weight in half. Work on belly breathing and squat deeper.

Yeah, that's Not a deload. A week at 60% 5x5 (or less), 2 sessions would be a deload for me. I do what Patrick says, every 4-6 weeks take significant weight off the bar. Every 3-4 months I take a complete week off too. I'm 43, trying to powerlift, my joints look forward to the deload.

I've been contemplating a pumice stone but will look into the pedi thingy too. Thanks

I don't think you know what dirty bulk means. It is all about calories. You can dirty bulk on whatever your meaning of clean foods are.

Start a good program, work on form and lifting heavy while recomping.
-
I'll second the more protein and fiber recommendation. Also, maybe intermittent fasting. I don't eat til noon, 2 or 3 cups of coffee keeps hunger at bay for me.
-
And congrats on your progress.
-
Maybe you need a diet break. Eating at maintenence calories for a week or 2 might help mentally and physically.

PHUL utilizes DUP. DUP isn't a program. From what I've assumed about you in your previous posts, strength training is a means to stay healthy and carry over to better performance in other activities (surfing? &...?) If you like/want to go to the gym 4 days, great, a thought out split would be fine. If you'd rather only…
-
I know what dup is. Never seen it utilized on consecutive days at the intensity you have on back to back days (Fri/Sat).
-
You deadlift Wed 5x5, Fri 6x3, and Sat 4x8?!? Benching Fri and Sat too?
-
@ninenines Looks real good. Nice work. and If that's your home gym, try barefoot.

https://bretcontreras.com ^ Lots of great info.

If you want an estimated strength training calorie burn, log it under the cardio section.
-
If you are new to strength/weight training I'd recommend spending a few months at maintenance calories while working on your lifting technique. A lot of novice strength gains can be made without gaining weight. Generally for women bulking or maintaining it is recommended to compare weekly weight averages to the same weekly…

There are a number of "Dancing" entries, pick one.

Sounds like you would like these books: https://strengtheory.com/art-and-science/ http://muscleandstrengthpyramids.com Probably would get a lot more applicable knowledge than periodization for athletes.

Yoga 1 or 2 days a week.

I would add Bulgarian Split Leg Squats 1 day.
