After my lab work revealed all sorts of physical issues, I've decided to go meat and dairy free. It's only been 2 weeks. But I'm thankful for even baby steps in the right direction.

I'm trying to lose 25 lbs, and it's hard due to the unhealthy habits i've developed. But i'm trying to focus more on my new lifestyle rather than weight loss. the days, weeks, months, and years will pass even if we're not trying to lose weight. we may as well have some progress to show for it. I work out 6 days a week-35-40 mins of cardio and abd work out. I take Saturday's/Sabbath off to rest my temple and visit God's temple, and I don't feel guilty about it at all. I started working out again about 2 weeks ago, and I've lost 5 lbs, but mainly, I FEEL GREAT!!

I used to get headaches and feel sluggish after leaving the gym. I learned that I wasn't eating enough. Try looking at you caloric intake vs the amount of calories you're burning.

The elliptical is GREAT!! I lost 15-20 lbs in 2 months using it. I did 30 mins/, 5 days/wk. Sometimes I'd do 45 min. I'm planning to buy one real soon. I wish I had bought the elliptical instead of the Fluidity Bar.

Two years ago I lost 15-20 lbs using My Fitness Pal. It helped me then, and it's helping me now, only because I log in my calories. Knowing that i have to write it down is what keeps me from over eating. But, I'll admit that on days when I over eat, I don't log-in.

Using Splenda causes me to have headaches. My best friend told me it has the same effect on her. ValueMe made a great suggestion. I would stay away from Splenda.
