Hello. Im sure you will get plenty of advice following this post, I just want to say don't weigh yourself. You can feel and see the results......and you look great. x

For the entire year I was working out more and more, eating 1200 cals and I gained 6 kg. At the start of October I stopped taking the pill, I dont count calories now, I eat 8 meals a day, I work out less and I have lost 3 kg. I can tell you what I eat if your interested. Nat.

I have only (this year) began to accept my pear shape. I've always hidden my figure. Thighs are the first place I gain weight and the last place I lose from. I have the ability to make flattering A-line skirts and dresses however I'd love to wear a pair of skinny jeans.....not going to happen. Most jeans gape at the back…

Thanks for all the opinions. I think I will continue to enjoy my Pepsi max and coke zero in moderation. I have looked at the research on Aspartame and Im not too worried. Cheers Nat

I have to disagree, I have never had any trouble losing weight on the mini pill. this year however on the stronger pill, I could not lose and was gaining right up till I stopped at the start of October. Only in the last 2 weeks I have lost 2 kg, very happy about it too.

I have always taken a minimill until this year as I developed a stress related dermotitis on my face. My Dr put me on a higher dose oestrogen pill to counteract the problem. That worked however I gained 6kg this year. No matter what I did with diet and exercise I could not lose, in fact I kept gaining weight and got well…

Me too. I sometimes hate being alone all day however I choose the music and no one bothers me. x

I find that I judge myself harder than I judge anyone else. When I do my washing and hang my clothes on the line, I look at them and think they are tiny but if I look at myself in the mirror I think I look huge and out of proportion. (mentaly distorted view) I always compare myself in size to others in the class and…

I too am "pear Shaped" it used to be a big issue for me, I have now come to accept that's how I am. I can say that when Iose weight, my thighs are the last place that I lose it from, my advise ...KEEP GOING!! I have been going to spin classes and that seems to help my legs a little. Lastly don't ever compare yourself to…

You need to have a big picture, a goal. Then you know what it is your aiming for. Use past failure as motivation to improve. MFP is great for motivation. Hang in there, once you start to lose you will want to keep going. xxx

Hi, I too am pear shape. It used to worry me but now I see it as more femanine. As long as your losing weight and keeping healthy it will eventually come off from all areas. we all need to accept our bodies and make them the best possible for our unique shape. Spin class has been my most successful exercise for "Thigh"…

Hi, thanks for your message. I wish I had the motivation to work out at night... I used to but now I get up early and run with my dog, work, kids. study..I just cant do it at the end of the day. My friend says I should always change my routine to shock my body and keep it guessing. In the real world .....I dont have time.…

You will kick goals by July. - thats 6 months away. The worst trouble is it will be coming into winter & where I live that can be a problem (Gippsland) It rains all the time here, I think outdoor running is completly different to treadmill. But by then you'll be super fast. Nat. x
