i have no idea what protein fluff is. LOL i hope you find an answer

go to Fleet Feet. also, some people do a SEARCH and find answers to questions already posed in previous posts. don't take it personally  the question about shoes gets asked alot.

i don't keep up with my LBM, but i started lifting almost a year ago, and was doing about 25-30 lbs., maybe 40 if i tried REALLY hard (arm "machines" such as lat pull-downs, bicep curls, tricep, chest press, etc.) now i can do about 90-110 lbs. on the same machines. it took months before i could see a huge difference in my…

yes. when you exercise, you are burning fuel (calories) and you need to eat more so you don't eat too few calories. there are some people who do NOT eat these calories, but others who do. you need to find out what works for you. personally, i try to eat about half of my "exercise calories" unless i work-out extra hard &…

interesting about the 12 hours. i will think about that one. thax for the info!

my husband just noticed the same thing. he said he feels like a teenager! ugh!
-
i haven't tried it yet as i get sick if i dont' eat, but might try it and do something light and see how it goes. i have worked out twice per day a couple of times and feel exhausted the next day. did boost my weight loss, though.

no grass here! it's more like a slip'n'slide than a ballfield anyway.
-
or another way to put it is, "no one will play on a playground with too much grass!" LOL at least not in my house!

i shave every other day. i shave from my ankle, all the way up. ALL THE WAY UP and including EVERYTHING. can't stand to have a single hair anywhere "down there" :blushing:
-
wow that is awesome - what a great supportive husband! well said
-
someone posted about that the other day, and there is some evidence that having a "standing desk" at work will burn slightly more calories than sitting all day. not worth logging, but hey if you can stand, do it!
-
some days i do and others not. depends on if i am hungry. when i do NOT eat them back, i lose more weight.

i totally agree with this above ^^ my friend's pedi told her the same thing about her son. she had the bottom drawer of the refrigerator full of things he could reach himself, and not have to ask for. cheese sticks, yogurt, grapes, fruits, tiny bottled water, etc. when he felt in control, he didn't eat nearly as much,…

i think you're a great caring mom for wanting what is best for your child. i agree with taking her to the pedi to make sure there are no under-lying health issues contributing to her weight. in the meantime, STOP with anything unhealthy coming in the doors of the house. like someone else said, you buy the groceries, you…

i'm not there yet. i have it in my head how i want to look, feel & weigh. i'll "know" when i get there. i'm a little scared of maintenance, but trying not to think about it yet since i'm still in losing mode.

if you tore significantly, you need MAJOR time to heal. no tub baths or swimming until after your 6-week pp check-up. congrats by the way!!! to start slowly, walk to the mailbox, or push baby in stroller for about 5 min. rest, keep your feet elevated and drink TONS of water, esp if b-feeding. a few days later,…

to let you know, the MBT's work only if you wear them all the time. i had to wear them for probably a couple of weeks before they helped and wore NO OTHER SHOES NO MATTER WHAT. i even went to a funeral and wore them, had on super long black pants to disguise them. the "boots' you can get online. both my PF and heel spurs…

each person has to make her own decision. i was a 42DDD and now i'm a B cup. my bbs aren't really attractive, but i'm healthy and that's all that matters to me. personally, i wouldn't get surgery.
-
i had PF and heel spurs. when i lost weight, both problems disappeared. get some MBT shoes, they are expensive, but worth EVERY PENNY..wear them all the time, even though you will look and feel ridiculous. also try some braces to wear on your feet while you sleep. those helped ALOT.

^^ i agree with this

i have endo and it's really bad, i'm about to have a hysterectomy. i literally drag myself to the gym to do at least a little something, although i usually can't stay long b/c i have to change pads, etc. so frequently. i take 4 Advil and make myself go. otherwise i would stay in bed for 2 days and cry.

i think it took about 10 lbs for people i hardly see to notice, about 20 lbs before my close friends & family noticed, and more than that for me to really see a huge difference. i would say i had to lose 30 before i really "felt" and looked different to myself.
-
if you are hungry, then eat. otherwise, why force it?
-
i just had to stop "bad" carbs completely to keep from literally passing out. i eat every 3 hours (protein-based) starting at 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. peanut butter is great right before bed (not a sandwich - no bread) the cravings went away. seriously! i thought i could never live without donuts. (or bread, or crackers,…

LOL funny

it doesn't bother me to see others doing it, but i personally do not.

interesting, just read this after i posted. will check it out.

just my own opinion but i don't see how standing can burn calories as compared to sitting, unless you are dong lunges while you are standing at the computer. LOL but would be interested if anyone has any input. seems to me like simply standing vs. sitting might be better for circulation, posture and preventing fatigue, but…

restrict or better yet, cut-out caffeine COMPLETELY if you can. this is a huge source of problems when you have heart issues. i think eating beforehand would help keep your blood sugars nice and regulated, so you aren't working-out with no food in your system and risking passing-out. also drink a lot of water and watch…
