If you search for "Frustrated beyond belief-WHY is there a weight GAIN??" on the forum there are loads of answers on there regarding this. Try not to get disheartened as it will come off as long as you persevere and don't give up!

That's just over 7 stone! No chance!

"A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips" Not entirely true! Maybe just a week!

Ha ha! Kate Moss wasn't it? I agree. Not always true though when faced with cheesecake, crisps and dips, chippy chips, BBQs, all you can eat buffets ("as much as you can eat" as I like to refer to them).....The list goes on!

31 and nearly married (July)! That count?

I love that! Not something people usually mention but mine was commented on the other day too when my Fiancé told me it had changed shape. Not something I'd thought about before but loved the comment! Great quotes - Keep em coming!

I have to: - have my rug completely lined up with the laminate and get really annoyed when my fiancé moves it - have the flower on my tray facing the right way up when eating - have to have a matching knife and fork to eat with - have to place my glass completely in the centre of the beer mat when in the pub.

I always check their height and some are the same height as me! I always feel like I either look better at the same weight than their start weight or that my goal weight IS their "fat / disgusting" start weight. Then I start feeling like I am dillusiional.

Fab! If you can do that you got it sussed! True test of willpower and that kinda thing really builds it up! When you're not on a diet buffets are a wonderment but when you are dieting they are the devil incarnate and nothing feels so good as to resist and I bet you really enjoyed the night too and din't come home feeling a…

Depends how often you get an attack but I was getting them every few weeks and am always guaranteed them at the time of the month so my doc put me on pizotifen which I take daily and seems to help. before this I tried atenolol and epilim which worked but only for a few months until I guess I must've got immune or…

This happened to me yesterday and I put on 2 lbs. I did have 2 bad days for celebrating my fiancé's birthday but when I worked out my calorie intake compared to the deficit from the rest of the week I was still well under what it should take to maintain. If anything I should have lost a little. It makes you feel like you…

BUMP - Sorry! Just seen 15 cals! Fab

Great! Are these Calorie free then?

Fu Yung! That's quite low. Just one plateful. Don't go back for more. Give yourself a fair portion of what looks leanest i.e. noodles, fu yung, chicken in blackbean sauce etc and then don't go back for more. Also use chopsticks! You'll eat slower and so you'll feel fuller by the time you finish! Enjoy what's on your plate…

Same calories as a normal potato so 21 cals per ounce. An average potato is about 8 / 9 ounces so 168-189 cals (when cut into quarters this equals 4 roasts). You could count the fry light too but for 1 cal per spray I don't bother!

Some weeks you lose some you don't. I have stayed the same for 2 weeks and then just put on 2lbs cos of two bad days. I lost 24lbs before that so I can manage to stay motivated to stick at it. I often think if this had happened right at the start of my diet I may well have given up but whenever I have done that in the past…

Ooh that dip sounds great! Cheers

It's entirely up to you if you eat calories lost through exercise. You can use it for extra food. This always comes in handy if you have a meal out that night!! Otherwise you can just use it for quicker weight loss! Either way, quids in!

Thanks for your replies. To be honest I haven't been doing any exercise as I wanted to lose the weight first then tone up after. When I dieted and exercised last year I found it really difficult to lose the weight despite strictly sticking to 1200 cals a day and running 5 miles 5 times a week. maybe the fat had turned to…
