  • Yeah mine does too and I wonder if it's that but also I only seem to get a week each month now where any weight comes off instead of 3 weeks like used to happen. I wonder if it's something to do with possible perimenopause.
  • No but I do think it's a hormonal thing. I always seem to lose straight after starting and then a week later have this problem in shifting or gaining for weeks. Definitely a lot worse than it used to be though. Wondering if perimenopausal.
  • Also the reason I'm in a bit more if a rush to lose that half a stone I gained in Dec / Jan is cos next week I'm getting an ajovy injection delivered for my migraines for the first time and lots of people say they have put loads and loads of weight on with it as it affects the pituitary gland. I'd like to start at my ideal…
  • I'm 5'3" and in 1200 cals a day. I'll be honest though, I'm doing very little exercise at the moment with homeschooling and working from home. It's never been a problem before though. Never had a problem losing and with no exercise except for general day to day.
  • Yep everything. I'm really strict about it inc veg
  • 5! Wow! You're a braver woman than me. Mine was emergency and was petrified as ridiculously squeamish. Turns out the recovery (and infection) has been way worse to deal with than the op itself. Has made me miserable with the pain, not being able to pick up my toddler, relying on everyone else and of course my hideous…
  • That was 'tummy' and 'hate' it btw!
  • Totally agree. I'm always really flattered when people comment on my weight loss and don't get it when people ask "I hope you don't mind me saying......"
  • Thank you!!

  • Who do these people think they are? Who speaks to random strangers like that? Grrrrr the general public really annoy me! Besides there are very few very shallow jobs that base who they employ on weight and usually the weight they want their employees to aspire to can only be achieved through eating disorders. Who wants to…
  • 'You're only pretty when you've lost weight!' That was what a very upfront friend told me 12 years ago and I sat in the club crying all night. It's all I think about now when I put on weight! When I am heavier I have a lot of issues about going out now and can tear apart my entire wardrobe frantically trying to find…
  • I NEVER count vegetables. I eat broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, sprouts, cabbage, mushrooms, onions etc. A handful of a few of these a day amount to about 20 cals so barely worth mentioning. However, I do count veg with a higher calorie content such as sweetcorn, peas, parsnips etc.
  • CW: 137.6 GW: 126-133 Age: 32 Height: 5'3"
  • 32 you're welcome to add me
  • Ha ha. I once made a bowl of creamed butter n sugar and put smarties on top. I always thought it tasted nice at that stage of cake making. It was rank! I was 15 at the time though!
  • Damn predictive text 'doc was surprised' not 'six being'
  • I know you're totally right. Just sometimes wonder if I see what others do. You're right though weight looks different on different people. Definitely. I remember getting weighed at doctors once (a couple of stone heavier) and six being surprised at how much I weighed and I guess they weigh a lot of people.
  • So good to see company of you aiming for similar weight to me. I know I'm happy at 133 but when I see others of same height aiming for a lot lower it makes me wonder if my perception of myself is different to what everyone else sees! Cheers people. Welcome to friend me.
  • Mushy peas (they look like the squashed caterpillars from 'Simon and the Witch' I used to watch as a kid!) Liver (smell and texture makes me wanna vom!) Beetroot (what even is it? Why is it soooo purple and it stains the rest of your food. Bleugh!):frown:
  • Well done! Such a good feeling! :drinker:
  • Vodka or bacardi n diet coke...50 cals or any spirit with diet coke!
  • Hi, can I join this group please? I have been ttc for 6 months now. While I know it isn't that long I am finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the disappointment each month. I could really do with some ttc friends who understand when I really need to talk. I would like to lose about half a stone to get down to my…

  • TTC and getting a little too obsessed with it and very down. Need something else to obsess about and know I can become very obsessed about weight loss. I am a healthy weight after losing two and a half stone for my wedding (but put half stone back on) but doesn't hurt to lose the weight I put back on and maybe half a stone…
  • 22nd ha ha exactly a week before us! I weighed this morning 139.8 exactly half a stone more than our wedding day. I'm quite pleased it's not more after Christmas too! Will weigh in again next Monday.
  • Thanks people! Some great ideas. Just gone and bought wheatgerm, flaxseeed, pumpkin and sunflower seeds (ground) to stick in my Smoothies. Want to get healthy as well as lose weight. I just stuck a tablespoon in and you can barely notice it apart fro the texture. :)
  • Hi, wedding date was 29th July last year. What an amazing day. Yeah it is sad it's over but love being married. Didn't think it'd feel any different but kinda does. Feel like its meant to be and a sense of belonging. Loved all the planning though and would love to be a wedding planner! Are you on this then? I'm gonna weigh…
