Cycling and walking calories strava
Does anyone know why when I walked 1.6 miles in 30 mins this morning, according to Strava I burnt 212 calories but when I went for a bike ride for 40 mins and cycled 7.1 miles I only burnt 172 calories even though I was far more out of breath and my legs hurt far more on the bike ride? It doesn't make sense. I wasn't…

How do you build your willpower?
How do you build your willpower? I like to get food items for other people and not for myself and then sit back and feel smugly satisfied I didn't have any. I once sat on a bus for 30 mins with a big mac meal for my Gran and was really pleased when I didn't give in to temptation and get one for myself or pick at hers. Mind…

Think I've just eaten about 600 cals over my limit! Had a prawn foo yung takeaway which mfp database states is 300 cals per portion and after a bit more research it looks like it refers to what I would call a third of a portion ie a third of a container. Is it just me or does that seem like a child's portion? I have always…
