I am getting married in just over 5 weeks and had lost 31 lbs. Last week I only had 3.5 lbs left to get to my target and this last few lbs is proving virtually impossible lose. I finally decided it was time to start exercising so last week I started 30 day shred and have been running a couple of times too. I have been eating the same calories. My arms, legs and stomach feel heavy and when I weighed myself this morning I'd put on 2lbs. So now I have almost 6lbs to lose! Feel so disheartened. Feel like I'll never get to target before wedding. So annoyed about making effort to exercise (before work as well) and putting on! What's the point!

You can't really get a good idea of what your body is doing if you are just now starting something new.

I would guess it's probably water weight. You're muscles will swell and absorb water after a rough workout to help themselves repair. if you havent been EXTREMELY consistent with drinking tons of water, when you worked out your body was probably dehydrated, so anything you drank was probably stored.

I'd bust your *kitten* 3-4 times a week at the gym, while making sure you eat enough calories. You won't gain, I promise.

Maybe u should change up your foods or add a little bit more calories one day just to change it up. I think your body might be getting use to the same stuff. No worries you'll get there.

    Don't panic!
Your body sometimes needs time to get used to new activity, specially when it is hard physical effort.
Keep up the exercise and healthy eating and things will settle down. And if you don't lose that last 3 pounds - you'll still be a beautiful bride :)

You should maybe measure, maybe you've lost inches with toning.
