  • Sorry, I read it wrong. I would imagine as long as you are eating something, you should be fine. I don't think it's ever good to FORCE yourself to eat, especially if this is how you feel every day.
  • Going along with this - sometimes the store has low sodium ramen packets. If I see it, then I grab a few, even if i'm not craving it at the time. Look for these! At least then you (kind of) fix the sodium issue! Regarding the other person that said her bf adds eggs - this is how you do egg drop soup, so i'm sure the egg is…
  • Obviously, he is not very encouraging. My first question is - does he understand what its like to need/want to loose weight? I know plenty of people who have amazing metabolisms, and never had this issue, and do not understand it. If this is the case he is SLIGHTLY forgiven in my book. But the second thing that came to my…
  • ah, okay. well. never mind then. Maybe, like another person said, its just carb over load. Just eating too much. But, I'm not sure. that is odd.
  • Sexism is awesome. On a side note, my father has noticed he is having the same issue (thus being why I clicked it) I feel like its gotta be something with the sugar. He gets this when he eats oatmeal or cereal for breakfast. Maybe it has to do with the fact that it is SO much sugar and it's all you've had to eat so far.…
  • http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/food-and-nutrition/AN01119 ^ that is an article from a local clinic. I would say the info in it is pretty reliable. The general consensus is yes, it is important! I used to not eat breakfast, and I would be fine until lunch. However, (this isn't in the article) from my understanding, your…

  • Thank you for inviting me here! I've had a crazy 2013, and am just now getting back on the diet. I did it for the month of november, and in that month alone lost 15 lbs. In the last few months, I wasn't watching was I was eating AT ALL and gained back 7ish of those pounds. I'm already happy to be losing weight again. It's…

  • I'm so excited to have you all on deck! Feel free to add me! We should all try to remember to check back in on the 5th of march to see our progress and maybe right a blurb about how not weighing in helped/didn't help/etc :)
  • gluten free is tough at first but its not too horrible. I'm not 100% gluten free, but I am trying to be carb free, which is extremely similar. spaghetti squash (cook normal spaghetti with red sauce but use squash instead of noodles) is probably my favorite meal at the moment and is gluten free and AMAZING. and best of all,…
  • Mommy duke, you could always try just doing it for the gym weigh in and at the end of the month :)
  • Just try it! Or if you're one of those constant weigh in-ers you could do weighing in just once a week! This is what I do and even just doing this I am always surprised. Make sure you weigh in at the same time (the best time to weigh in is in the morning after you go to the bathroom... or that's what my boyfriend told me!)
  • I'm 5'4, so not too far off. I was 165 and am currently at 150. I did this in about three weeks. I know, it sounds crazy. To say the least, I wasn't eating so great before I started my diet/etc. The thing that I am doing is NO CARBS. Basically all I eat these days is meat and veggies. Even though fruit is great for you,…
