  • Hello mavd. What is your current workout like? From my understanding, we need to be lifting heavy to maintain strength. Hello Sleepy. Sounds like you are doing things right. Are you fairly new to lifting? The gains you are stating are usually what new lifters (first year or so) experience.
  • You lost close to 2 lbs per week for 3 weeks, and you say you eat at 1300 cal and burn 300-600 cal per day (which puts you at 1000 cal, or less, per day). That seems too low for someone who is a muscular 130-135 lbs, and would explain the rapid initial weight loss. Up your cals per day for a while, and then restart.
  • If you just recently started lifting weights, then you are probably increasing lean body mass and losing fat...which is the ideal scenario.   • Instead of just chicken breast, cheese, apple and water, why not make a big salad with leafy greens, celery, red peppers, etc. You can cut up the chicken, cheese and apple into the salad.
