Hi! I'm SO looking forward to another fresh start. I think I did okay with the last challenge - 6 out of 7 of the pounds, but I'm ready for some REAL progress. I intend to lose around 20 lbs in 10 weeks. Doable!! I'm headed off to work right now, but looking for my pedometer so I can start walking those 100 miles.…

Yes, I would LOVE some recipes!! :-)

Only lost 0.2 lbs this week - gained a little back - but it's still progress, so I'll take it! Does anyone have any good suggestions for homemade recipes? I have my old favorites that I love to make, but I would like to try something new. This week my goal is to focus on healthy and being under my calories. Count me in for…

And I want to thank both of you for doing these challenges. They are awesome! Will have to think about my "new" challenges for the week and post those later. My CW is 178.2, so I'm down 4.2lbs/7lbs for the challenge. 2.8lbs to go! And two weeks! Wow, going by fast. Am already looking forward to the easter challenge!!! PS:…

I feel like I've been on a major plateau this month. Got back down to pre-christmas weight... but NOW what? I guess I'm gonna have to amp up the exercise! Goal one: MORE WATER!! 20 oz down this am before 9am. Woo! Goal two: more pushups to tone my arms. Thanks for the awesome motivation and inspiration everyone! And I love…

I don't want to hate men for their ability to lose more weight - but man I hate it! Lol! :-P

Doing good everyone! Good job on the progress! #1: This week I tried a new way to make potato soup. Less sodium, and more vegetables... and less ham. Yum! That was tonight, so hopefully that counts for this weeks challenge. #2: Repeating others - WHY didn't I think about youtube for videos!! STILL trying to get into the 30…

ps: NO SODA FOR SECOND WEEK IN A ROW!!! Yay! That bad habit is going well!

I feel like my week didn't go very well. I'm starting a new work schedule and starting classes again... so it's been about finding a good routine. Screwy how the calories get messed up when your routine gets shaken up... hmm. Here's my homemade recipe for the week: White Chicken Chili (Cooking Light website) 2 cans great…

I LOVE reading all your posts and all the progress that's being made, stick with it guys! This week I didn't lose a whole lot (only 0.4lb), BUT I got my eating back on track. I got waaayyy off with the holidays, so I am happy that I'm feeling the difference in my body again with eating better. As for my challenges... I got…

I am off the road now, and could use my scale again... SW: 182.4 (up 2-ish lbs over Christmas but that ain't bad at all!)

I like it!

I'm not quite off the road from traveling yet, so I don't have a starting weight... but I have my goals! I'm SO READY to start fresh again! Faults I need to work on: 1) Be confident in myself 2) Not allow my family's approval be a sign of success - instead feel successful in myself. 3) Giving up too easy... don't do it!…

I can very much relate to the family issues. I just spent over a week home, and only a few noticed... but the ones that really did see a change weren't my family. I think (in my case) my family are a big part of why I got big in the first place. So one of my challenges is to learn to not seek the approval of my family, and…

I LOVE the ideas everyone is coming up with. I have to say I liked the before/after pictures from the last challenge, and it helped me to stay motivated. It was something physical that I could look at and see progress. I think seeing my own progress is one of the most motivating things. We could also make it a challenge to…

Hi! Sorry this is nearly a week late... but I just wanted to finish up my 8 week stats. I got down to 179.6, which means a total weight loss of 6lbs in 8 weeks. Not bad, I had a "relapse" over the holidays, so had to make up some ground. I'm looking forward to the valentine's challenge and getting back on track!

To keep on track with a gradual weight loss, but not get DISCOURAGED! To drink more water, and be honest with myself about the state of my health.

Thanks for doing these weekly challenge posts! They have been so helpful! Very much appreciated. This week my CW is 180.6. Loss of 1.6lbs this week. Yay for a loss! I wasn't so sure I could pull one off this week... I have NOT been exercising or eating like I should. This week for challenges -still trying to do the whole…

Totally using this in place of Birthday cake this year!

PS: I LOVE, love, LOVE the idea of sexy 7 lbs to Valentine's Day!

Wow! Week 7! I don't feel like I've come nearly as far as I've wanted to, but I've made progress! And I'm only 2.2 lbs away from 180... and 4.2lbs away from a total of 50lbs weight loss. The 50 pound weight loss comes from when I weighed 230 seven years ago... this time around I just started my ticker at 200. :-) This…

Thanks everyone for the kind words and congrats - we hope to make it to 50 years!! :-) My favorite things about christmas... I have to say... usually revolve around baking, and cooking, etc. My grandma was raised in Texas/Oklahoma, and she cooks like it! She makes about 7 different kinds of pie each year - peanut butter,…

Just keep at it, right? Every little bit is progress!

Ah, week 6. Well I'm still working on backtracking and re-losing the few lbs I gained during Thanksgiving, but that's okay. I'm still headed in the right direction! :-) I probably won't make the 12 by the deadline, but I'd like to be 180 by my birthday on 12/30. Totally doable!!! This week: SW: 186.6 CE: 183.6 Total loss:…

Ditto to that! Mine says that he wants me to be healthy, but then the next second turns around and suggest McDonald's for dinner. I don't think he does it on purpose, but he definitely doesn't tolerate the eating healthy. Also... not eating as MUCH. I eat less than before and I don't tend to make huge meals... and that…
