Cool, well at least I know I'm actually getting fitter and not just imagining it. Yay. :-)

I use the digifit app. It's great, works out average heart beats and calaories burnt.

Thanks very much for that. I have noticed a couple of the barcodes I have scanned have had incorrect numbers in (for example, how many mg of calcium rather than the daily % that MFP is showing). I couldn't work out how to adjust it. I can change it now so that one yoghurt doesn't show as 335% of my daily calcium lol.

Now, I know nothing, but as a lay person, could your cravings be because you are not getting enough calories for everything your body is trying to do? I would imagine that stopping breast feeding could help that, it just depends what is more important to you.

Those are the work outs my gym does so yes! Body pump I tried for the first time last week. Second one this week. I'm only on light weights still. Body combat I've been doing for a couple of months and really enjoy. Body attack I did find really challenging, but all of a sudden my fitness level seems to have jumped and it…

I burnt 500 for my body attack class today according to my heart rate monitor. Mine is a wahoo blue and I love it. :-) I find some classes I burn more than others. Often the ones I think I've worked harder in are less lol. I have also noticed that the more lessons I take, and the more my body is getting used to the moves…

I don't know, that just seems way low compared to my heart rate monitor. I burnt 200 today just on pilates and that isn't a high heart rate thing at all. How long are your classes? Maybe that's the difference? Mine tend to be about 55 minutes.
-
Are you sure on your calorie burns per class? I did 58 minutes of body combat yesterday and burned 518 calories according to my heart rate monitor and I'm pretty new so not working out as hard as others in the class would be.

Well I certainly record mine from the scales.
-
Sounds about right to me.

I'm nearly 35 and going to start ttc soon. Just here trying to get myself in as good a position as I can. Weight can certainly make a difference (so I've read) so you are doing the right thing. Anyone who is going through the same and would like to add me, feel free.

Yep, well not exactly skinny, but not over weight other than a pot belly. Friday someone told me I look pregnant! People look at me oddly when I say I'm trying to loose weight. The stomach is the last to go on me, so I have to loose elsewhere first. I'll add you. :-)

I'm pretty much in the same position as you. I'm 34 and never really worried about my weight. Not excersised since I was in 6th form. My main aim to start with was to get my body in shape before trying for a baby next year. I decided I needed to go to classes as otherwise I just won't push myself. I started off at one…

Or if you are not that similar and would like to add me lol.
-
No. I'm always going straight home so shower there. I would if I wanted to go out somewhere, or maybe in your situation.

It measures how high your heart rate gets, for how long etc etc. I use mine with the digifit app and it tells you exactly how many calories you have burnt on a work out. You can compare workouts too, and see which part had you working the hardest. I'm in love with mine. :-)

Scales defenatly help. I used to go by cups, and when I actually started weighing the foods there was a big difference!

I agree with the heart rate monitor. I was burning less calories than most of the calculators were telling me. I am new though and obviously not as good as I will one day be. They are worth the money.
