This is what you lost in a month girl!!! That's awesome progress! Don't be so bummed out about it.

5lbs a month is an avg of 1.25lbs a week. That's a healthy time frame for weight loss. Also, since you are so close to your goal the weight will come off a little slower since now you'll be working on mainly substituting the little bit of fat you have for muscle. I know that it can be discouraging but you are losing at a…

I started 6/18. Today will be Day 4. I can already feel a difference. Mind you I want to stop because I'm sore, but my endurance for level 1 has already gone up. =) It's exciting.

No, they don't get it. And that's Okay! But we do. You do. It's great to see you realize what took me awhile to realize. I'm doing this for ME! & No one else! This is what I WANT! And I'm gonna HAVE IT!. LoL Good for you! Take care of yourself, that's what's important. People in your life will always come and go. The ones…

Look at your before photos. 20lbs down, your before photos will hopefully be a reminder of why you're doing this. Also, Start back at square one! It's ok to start again! If you are falling backwards and can't grab hold of something then just take a step back. Get your footing & start again. What do I mean? Start planning…

Yes. My husband compares MFP to Facebook. And asks if I'm on here all day chatting with random people. I said yes, But I made sure to only add females just to keep him on the happier side. Plus he is seeing how much work I'm actually putting into getting healthy, that he's actually starting to get over it. =) He's even…

So far I've lost a Human Head!

I'm 24, mother of two. I think they look great! And those aren't short shorts. Trust me. When you're cheeks are seen with a slight bend over they are "short shorts". When your cheeks are seen all the time without a bend over they are "booty shorts". =) Those are very nice average shorts. I like them!

In respect of the OP, I will take heed to the nipping at my ankles & head out of the conversation here. <3 Good luck with your journey OMGitzj3551k4. Take things one day @ a time & don't let others bring you down. You can do this! & Don't let anyone tell you differently! Take care!

To all the "Wow"-zers. Here is someone that is the opposite & needs the motivation. Hehe. Everyone gets motivation to lose weight differently. Everyone takes thier OWN journey to weight loss & getting healthy. OP- Do it how YOU want to do it. Because in the end it's YOUR journey to make! =) You can do this girl! Take it…

<3 Just trying to show a different perspective.

Some people need more motivation than others. Some people actually do NEED to have someone make them feel guilty so they don't do it again! If you are not one of those people, and you do not need help with your Food Diary then go ahead and make it private. To have it public is an open invite for criticizing &…

Congratulations!!! Keep it up!

Hehe, I still have a good bit of weight to go. But something that made me REALLY go OMG I NEED to workout more. Was working out in just a sports bra and sweat pants. In my home of course. But watching my fat stomach while I did crunches & such on my total gym really disgusted me into wanting to do more. =P Also Success…

Wow, I didn't know it was that far apart.

Personally I'm just a little over 5'7" and looked good at around 140lbs. That being said, my best friend is that same height as me and looks good at 125lbs. It all depends on how YOU want to look. =) I say anywhere between 120-145lbs is a safe bet for you.

Thank you all so much for the support. It means so much to have a community here to help me through my panic attacks when I look in the mirror. Hehe. You all make me feel so much better about what I'm doing and how I'm doing. To those in the same boat or were in the same boat, youre all more than welcome to add me. I do my…

@Kajungrill- It's all good. I got what you meant by it in the second sentence. LoL <3 I'm glad someone can relate. @raeontherun- I sure do hope so. =) @crazycritter- This winter when we go to florida for a couple month I may take a water aerobics class. It seems a lot less stressful on the joints. @chaelez- Thank you for…

I have the Mirena. I did not gain weight from it to my knowledge. Now the Patch & the Nuva Ring yes, I gained weight on both. But I don't think I noticed anything with the Mirena. Whether it was because I was already overweight at that point I'm not sure. But that's my story.

Thank you two so much. =D I knew this thread would help me feel better about my freak out in the mirror. =P I love MFP, best people ever!

@paigemulroe Hannah Murray- Who plays Gilly in Game of Thrones!!!

Wow, very very inspirational. Thank you! I needed this! =) You have a true point it's not like I'm still 4 lbs heavier. I'm 4 lbs lighter than before. =) I guess all the "20lbs in one month!" posts have got me dreaming. Hehe. Stick to the real deal & stick it out for the long haul. Thank you Soldier4242.
-
Thank you all so much for your advice & opinions! I appreciate them all. I will keep my 1420 cals per day for now. I guess over all the 4wks/4lbs is what I need to focus on instead of the up and down weekly basis. I will stick with this until I stop losing anything. =) I know that I need to workout more often. So I plan on…

I often over exaggerate...in fear of underexaggerateing. Could that be hurting me?
-
I've only been on 1400 Calories for a month now. I lost 3 lbs the first week. Then gained then lost half a pound. I'm down 4lbs now.

The suggestion was. That my body wasn't used to eating so little and even a normal 1200-1400 calories was putting my not trained body into starvation. & That starting higher would be more successful in training my body to maintain eating less without starvation mode? Does this sound right? Or just more bad advice? btw I…
