I've noticed that if you spice up{change} what you've been doing. You're body should hopefully get out of it's rut. But, to help you out with that. I entered the information you provided here into the BMR calculator. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/. Here are the results for 175lbs Goal Weight. {It did not suggest…

Hello! I was going by my pre-pregnancy weight. But, then I was directed to this calculator - http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/ibw/. It's a goal weight calculator, going by what body fat% you'd like to be at. It helped me get a look at what different body fat % vs. Goal weights would be. Hope this helps some! -Jessica

I agree with pretty much all of the others here. Plan your meals, if you have a weakness to sweets take them out of your house and only buy ONE when you are feeling good about it. This way on the way to the store you have a moment to think, is this sweet really worth it? Another thing that really helped me was looking at…

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/y3t-neil-hill-9-week-hardcore-video-trainer.html That is the workout routine my husband and I are following. They incorporate rest days. It's Day 1, Day 2, Rest, Day 3, Day 4, Rest Rest. Okie dokie then. Seems the majority is infact towards rest days. I will try to incorporate Yoga & Core…

15 Weeks. IF you can lose 2 lbs a week. Which, I never have been able to. =)

Thank you JNick. I was thinking of doing 30DS as often as possible too. I was really losing inches doing that. But, I'd hate to wear myself out doing lifting & 30DS. Anyone have any experience with doing a circuit/body thing like that & weight lifting? How often do you rest Jodie? We are doing lifting by muscle groups. Day…

How did you figure out to choose 1900 calories? TDEE? It just worked for you? MFP? =) Thank you ahead of time for your input! Thank you for replying! Is this what you have been using your entire journey? :flowerforyou: I'm also going my body building programs. Not sure which one, my husband is in charge of that! Hehe.…

This is very insightful. How long were you on your weight loss/get fit journey? How well has your skin kept with you as you lifted & lost weight/inches? :flowerforyou: This is good to know. I'm still at the beginning of my weight loss journey, but I want to tone & lose so that when I reach my goal weight "hopefully" I can…

How did you figure out to choose 1900 calories? TDEE? It just worked for you? MFP? =) Thank you ahead of time for your input! I agree that slower/stronger is better than fast/weak/saggy. TDEE minus 10% seems really high, I weigh a bit I don't think I'd even be able to consume that much. =D Thank you! I will look into this!…

Haha, I understand where you're coming from. But I'm a big girl. Gotta lose the fat that ontop of these muscles. They wanna be seen! Hehe  That seems about what the TDEE wants. I'm thinking since I'm starting to lift I need to eat the part and start proteining it up. This would put me at 2400cal a day. I understand.…

I was breast feeding, have a heart condition, & a terrible tear during birth [natural delivery]. I was told to wait 6-8 weeks to start exercising. As for dieting, I would ask your doctor to give you a set calorie goal. I was on WW while Breastfeeding, & WW calculated the point value for me. But, you should ask your doctor…

OP, I can understand your frustration in not seeing a difference fast enough. 30 lbs in 3 months is a bit much to shoot for. If you lose 2 lbs a week for the next 12 weeks you can lose up to 24 lbs! Unfortunately weight loss isn't always that simple. =/ 1. Try to keep up your water intake. 2. Eat your 1200-1300 calories…

I've had two children. Both had extra amniotic fluid. My family thought I was having triplets. O_O My skin seems to be pulling back just fine. I'm sure it won't be gorgeous when it's flat since the stretch marks will still be visible, but it isn't sagging. At the moment at least. I have hope for my overly stretched marked…

I was told strength training while losing the weight. It has been helping me a lot. Last time I lost weight my tummy hung down. This time, it's not hanging!!! I do core exercises & strength for my arms, squats for my legs. Squats are giving my thighs amazing results, I'm very happy with them.

Heya. I'm assuming you have to deal with your ex regularly. Is he the kids father?

What is your BF%?

Hmm, I may actually have to start weighing in daily. I keep weighing in weekly, and sometimes day to day when It's way to high. Ex: Other week I was 199.4lbs SO EXCITED to be in ONEderland. ...The next week after an ER visit & then outdoors all the rest of the week. I was a scary 205lbs! O_O Even when I was under calories…

Absolutely not! Your parents raised you. And if you have 4 children, you know how much it costs to raise children. The struggles in life you face, all worth it, but struggles nonetheless. I would NEVER charge my parents rent if they needed a place to stay. My house will always be a home for them as their house was always a…

No, you are not supposed to take rest days. & You are not supposed to pause the DVD. It is meant to be a strenuous one on top of the other exercise routine to force your body to change. She says you are supposed to work through the soreness and complete the Level you are on Daily. Lvl 1 for 10 days, lvl2 10 day, & lvl 3 10…

Unfortunately she is her own woman now. 20 yrs old she will make her own decisions and what not. If she WANTS to lose weight, offer to exercise with her & have her cook healthy foods with you! If she doesn't want to, or doesn't care about her weight there is nothing you can do. Most likely pushing the subject will make her…

I'm not sure what all you were eating & drinking but with what you stated, Sodium - Can lead to the swelling. Processed Food - Can lead to the bloating/gas. Caffeine! - Can lead to the sore muscles, headache, & the foggy brain feeling. Caffeine Withdrawal that is. If you had a lot of Caffeine & Sugar on vacation then…

That's rough when you have snacks that you can't remove. Sometimes I try and do a good workout instead of eat. Then, I might even have burnt enough calories to eat something yummy! =D Also, look at your calories allowed per day. If you eating at 1200 like most women, try upping your calorie intake. Lowering your goal to…

If I ever feel like bingeing I grab water bottle after water bottle. If that doesn't work I distract myself with a workout. Those 10min snacking could be 10min of squats! Go buns & thighs!!!

30DS is a good core workout IMO. It's tightening my stomach muscles up a lot. Umm, as for Calisthenics...Mainly the reason it doesn't "burn so much" is because it's technically a strength workout. And burning calories with strength training is a lot different then cardio. Cardio is pretty straight forward. Strength has a…

Get your binge food OUT of your house!!!! I used to be an evening binger too. I couldn't control myself. Take some before pictures in your bra & panties. It's a bit of a wake up call. If 7pm you start to binge then look @ the clock when you see it hit 7pm grab a water bottle and drink it like "snacking". When it's gone,…

He's your husband for a reason. You two have to be compatible one way or another. Tell him how this all makes you feel. If he cares about you (Assuming so since you're married) he should see that you really care about keeping your kids healthy. If it's important to you he should really look into it. Plus, FFS it's…
