I'm obsessed with watching The Young and the Restless! My husband gets on my case every time it's on and reminds me that I'm 30 and not 75, but I don't care!

I've been using mine for about 3 months now and love it. I use it mainly to keep track of my activity level. I still have days at work where I don't get away from my desk much and I don't work out in the evening. When I see less than 4k steps, I feel terrible. I've noticed myself taking steps more and even walking circles…

I think the most important thing is to keep your net for the day at or above 1200. If you are set at 1400 and burn 400, you're only at 1000 net for the day and should try to eat back 200. The main thing is not to let your net go too far below 1200 on any day.

Thank you! I was scouring the website trying to figure it out, but couldn't find a clear explanation.

I eat Sensible Portions Veggie Straws in Zesty Ranch a lot. My 3 year old loves them too!

The first photo was not long after my daughter was born. Still want to lose another 20-30 pounds.

Sorry-wrong post! You look great!

I was in the same boat. I loved the french vanilla creamer! 35 calories isn't bad, if you can keep it to just one Tablespoon, but I was using 2 per cup, and having 2 cups a day! I switched to hazelnut coffee with 2 tbsp of skim milk and 2 Sweet n Lows (one large cup per day). Took some time to adjust, but now I can't live…

I'm 5'10" and my HW was 222 when I started MFP. I'm at about 188 right now and not sure how low to go. My original GW was 160, but I might be okay with something around 170. I just want to start toning and being a bit less lumpy! And I'm from Pittsburgh. Go Steelers!

I gave up all sweets - Cookies, candy, cake/dessert in general. I never realized how often I'd grab a few M&Ms here and there. Only a few more days to go!

As others have suggested, the Jillian Michaels DVDs are great. 30 Day Shred really helped me, and I'm on to Ripped in 30 now. That, with a few days of week of cardio and lower calorie intake, and you should do great! If you don't have a treadmill, try to find local trails or even a high school track where you can walk/jog.

Even if you want to use that argument, moderation is the real issue here. Those who choose the 'cheaper' junk food do not have to over indulge just because it's more convenient. I do splurge from time to time and have some chips, but it's when a person makes that the main component of their diet that they become obese.…

It does get better, like everyone else has been saying. I'm going to finish tomorrow. I tried last year and gave up after only a few days of levels 1 and 2. Take breaks when you need to, and don't be afraid to follow the beginner modifications. Good luck!

I'm 5'10" and wearing a 12 now and weigh 193. When i started, I was at 222 wearing size 18.

I do more than 30 minutes of Cardio at a time. And yes, I get mad when I see other people doing it!

I love salmon grilled and topped with some barbecue sauce. If cooked well, it almost tastes like you're eating ribs!

I'm 5'10" and 196, currently wearing 14. At my highest, 222, I wore 18, or 16 if they were super stretchy.

90 minutes again yesterday; at 910 now! I'm sick as can be today, but I'm hoping to still put in 90 to meet the goal.
-
Committing to 90 minutes three times this week to hit the 1000 mark! At 820 now.
-
730/1000 Can still make it, but it will be tough
-
Went on vacation but ready to get back on track for the month! 610/1000 as of yesterday. Still have enough time to pull it off!
-
I would leave it as is. It will only help you to be more active, but then you'll be relying on the extra calorie push from changing your lifestyle on here.
-
Count me in! I checked from 11/1. So far: 217/1000

First of all, Congrats on the 100 pounds! You look great!! I started in January. I never thought I'd park on the fifth floor of the parking garage just so I could walk up the steps after work. And I definitely did not see myself saying, I've only burned 700 calories at the gym today, let's do another 300.

I agree; you have to have a little to keep from going overboard later on. Just account for it, and do an extra 5 minutes of cardio later on to make up for it.
-
I only have people I know as my friends here.

I get up before 6 to be at work from 7:30 - 4:30, go home, dinner/play with my daughter, then go to the gym in the evenings, usually not until 8:00. I do walk at lunch, 40 minutes 2-3 times per week, plus I do 60 minutes of cardio (either elliptical or a class) 3 - 4 times a week, and 30 minutes of weights twice a week.…

I use the Weight Watchers scale too. Very consistent. When I used my old scale, there were days when I'd weigh myself twice within five minutes and be 7 pounds off!
