I disagree. I worked out at the gym 5-6 days a week while I was a member of Weight Watchers. Not every WW member chooses to not exercise, most do. Perhaps your meeting just wasn't a good fit for you. I didn't like all the meetings I went to and some were better then others. Plus, I'm sure there are plenty of people on MFP…

A 100 calorie banana is more nutritious then a 100-calorie Keebler pack, or the like. That's the point of the 0 Points+ so people will learn to choose healthier foods. Yes, they are both 100 calories some would argue, but one is complete chemicals and processed while the other is not. In the long run, theoretically,…

I'm also a fan of plain Greek yogurt with fruit added in, or maybe just some cinnamon. You can also use it as a fruit dip if you go the cinnamon route. I'm generally not a fan of protein bars because of the artificial ingredients they're packed full of. A serving of plain Greek yogurt has about 18 grams of protein and very…

With a 30 min cardio session and the 60 minute class, I burned 825 calories according to my HRM. LOVE Body Pump and highly recommend it!!

People on MFP do the same thing. MFP doesn't teach you to eat healthy. Afterall, you can eat 1500 calories of junk or 1500 calories of healthy, whole foods. In the end, it's 1500 calories. I've looked at plenty of diaries on here and people get in ZERO fruits and veggies, drink about 400-500 calories of sugared beverages a…

Skinnytaste.com is a fabulous website and she has many crock pot recipes. All the ones I've tried are delicious and easy. I'm a full-time graduate student and also work and it's a lifesaver.

I always put a sliced banana in. I switch between sliced almonds and chopped walnuts. And then cinnamon. I also put chia seeds in as well. In the past I've put in peanut butter, pureed pumpkin and pumpkin spice, a dash of cocoa powder.

Yeah, they're fill of chemicals and processed crap. Make your own high fiber bars with oats. There are recipes if you use google. Or if I am going to do a pre-packaged bar I prefer Kashi brand, Luna, or Lara bars.

As the others have stated, a new or beginner yogi should locate a studio in order to learn the poses properly (IMO). It's when people pop in a DVD and start practicing on their own without proper form that injuries happen. Injuries happen with all forms of exercise if not done properly. My instructor informed me that one…

Have you tried overnight oats? The night before combine 1/2 cup milk with 1/2 cup oatmeal (not the instant packets). Then put whatever you want in it. I add cinnamon, truvia, and sliced almonds. Stir. Let it sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes. Pop it in the fridge. In the morning I add a sliced banana to it. I…

I've lost 70 pounds on weight watchers and I'm a lifetime member. I hit lifetime in May 2009 and I am within 5 lbs of my "goal" weight while I was on weight watchers, which I have stayed consistent with the past 2.5 years. Weight Watchers taught me how to eat. It's a lifestyle change, not a diet. I've noticed with MFP of…

Fage is the best in my opinion for plain greek yogurt, but is more expensive than Chobani. Chobani Pineapple is really good. I like Fage Peach, Cherry, and Strawberry. For plain, I will put rolled oats (uncooked), cinnamon, and a sliced banana in it. It's a good filling breakfast of protein, fiber, and carbs. I'll also add…

A medical professional would be better able to answer this. I don't think I would "try" to lose weight, but rather eat clean and healthy and exercise...more of a healthy lifestyle than a diet.

I have this same problem, but for the past few days I've resisted. I would always eat most of my calories after 5 pm, but do well prior to this. I found really sitting down and thinking about the cause of the cravings really helped. You could even get a journal and record what is going through your mind when you get a…

Doctors office scales always weigh heavy in my experience, so don't be too discouraged! I love my EatSmart Precision Digital Bathroom Scale. It can be found on Amazon and has over 4,000 reviews and is rated 4.5 stars our of 5. Highly recommend it.

Any of their "Skinny" drinks are decent on calories. I particularly like their Skinny Peppermint Mocha, which is 100 calories for tall and 130 calories for grande. A red eye is good too, which is just their drip coffee with a shot of espresso..
