7 minute frosting. Especially on a coconut cake...... Sigh, my Dr. already yelled at me for the week after Christmas baking spree I went on. It was totally worth it though....

Now I wish it was Christmas again.....

I take a 15 min walk in the morning on break, walk to wherever we end up eating lunch which is about another 10-15 min (small town), and a 15 min walk in the afternoon on break. Come spring and it's not so dark after 5 anymore, I'll resume my hour long evening walks with my doggies. You can make exercise fit if you want…

As a low carb dieter/keto due to Dr. request for medical issues, it's not easier, at least for me. I still count calories. I still work out. It's not magic. In fact, some days it's really hard. Some weeks I don't lose anything at all and some weeks I drop 4 lbs overnight. Which incidentally was the exact same thing that…

I waste so much time on my settlements in Fallout. And I'm to the point where I wish I could permanently kill Preston LOL. No, I don't care if another settlement needs my help. I'm magazine hunting right now, before pressing on with the game which I could have done in a night. It's not Skyrim, but I've really enjoyed…

Fallout 4? Anyone?

5-10 lbs the week before here too. I guess my body needs all the water LOL.

Actually, yes I have. My aunt does to both and I've read several posters here that do as well. EDIT - I have no weirdness about food scales LOL. They are just a tool to be used. But like every other tool out there, they can be misused. My aunt just happens to be one of those people obsessed with them, which I view as…

I don't find the food scale a hassle, but I only use mine to weigh meats and calorie heavy items, and then only sporadically or when I feel like my eyeballs are off. I tend to eat a lot of the same stuff so it's not hard for me to eyeball it once I've already measured it. I also used to bake a lot as well. Veggies I don't…

"Wow, you sure are looking better now." Gee thanks, my favorite aunt.

4 months in as of today and I've only had 2 falling off the wagon moments; granddad's 90th b-day party and our recent vacation. Both times I just got back on track the next day with minimal fuss. Up until month 3 I didn't have any moments where I wanted something off plan, then for some reason had a week where all I could…

Every time I switch diets, I stay constipated the first month. Coffee, magnesium, up your fat intake, all great suggestions. :)

4 lbs. I figure it was because it was not my first rodeo with LCHF, but it was 4lbs no longer there, so I'm over it. I'm now averaging 2 lbs a week, and down 31 lbs in almost 4 months, 56 total since I started MFP. I've gone down 2 pant sizes, 2 bra sizes, and I can wear calf boots again, albeit wide calf ones, but still…

Um..... I sort of indulged in the very picture of which you posted this weekend. TV commercials of late have been NOTHING but Reese's, which are my favorite candy, and the cravings combined with shark week have been insane. It's the first time since I started I gave back into the sugar free candy urge. Let me tell…

I just got back from Orlando. We went to Universal Studios though as we'd gone to Disney back in March. According to my Fitbit, I walked over 13 miles, 30500k steps, and burned back 2000 calories. I just enjoyed myself and ate what I wanted. I logged everything, including the 1080 calorie cinnabon pecanbon I had LOL. I…

GRATS CHICA!!

My husband dropped 61 lbs in three months. I dropped 25 LOL We ate the same diet and he even ate more than me at meals. Shrugs. I don't view it as a race. He does have a good 100lbs more than me too lose too, so that plays a part.

Guess who can wear her high school class ring again? :D I can also wear my bridal set and it fits even with the finger swelling. Talk about motivation to stay on track on vacation. Yeah baby, this chick ain't gonna cheat now fo' sure!

Haha, yeah, the sheer reported size of that game will have me seeing little sleep and no life for a while. I'm the type that has to do all the side quests. It would probably end in divorce if he wasn't also going to be playing it on the One LOL.

Just finished the original Mistborn trilogy. I loved the Stormlight Archive books and am dying for the third one out next year because I have to know what Kaladin finds. Thinking about a new Stephen King book, but I just can't get into his newer stuff. I have the DA books.... or my hubby does. Might give them a go next. :)…

Re-playing The Last of Us remastered. :D I forgot how much I loved this game.
-
Yeah...... I'm old LOL!

Currently replaying The Last of Us in between random raids on WoW and Guild Wars 2. I've already taken a day off work for Fallout 4's release so I can crack out on it and I can't wait. Thinking about a 7th play through of Skyrim after The Last of Us, or maybe a second go around with DA Inquisition. Hubby and I hop on…

I love my skechers with the memory foam. It was a hard quest for me to find a shoe myself that was both comfortable and supportive. It's great when you find a pair that's perfect isn't it?
-
Yes, and I regret nothing.

I haven't strayed once since July 31st and then it was for a special occasion and I didn't even enjoy it. It was number3, birthday cake. In fact, sweets and candy are my biggest hangup and the things I crave most, although I do enjoy bread and potatoes as well. I cut out sugary soft drinks over a decade ago, so those…

I just want to point at that Atkins never once says NO CARBS. In fact, if you actually follow the diet as intended and not just stay in induction forever, you can eat a wide variety of carbs, including whole grains and fruit. Many people like to think Atkins is all you can eat bacon and cheese. It's not. He also severely…
