  • Get to update mine! YAY
  • Hmmm, I've been wondering about that myself. How much protein is too much protein though? I usually eat 100 grams or less. I read that your supposed to do 40g at each meal on the Atkins site? I'm more or less doing Atkins induction. As mentioned, I am showing trace amounts which tells me I'm in ketosis. Either I'm fat…
  • Congrats! That is totally awesome!
  • Feel free to add me too! I've been doing Atkins Induction for 2 months now!
  • Since I started this, I've only ever once seen the stick turn dark pink, most of the time it stays in trace.... even when I ate nothing but meat for 3 days straight. But I've never gone over 50 net carbs, or 50 carbs in general (save for my one cheat day). Most of the times I'm 10-30 net. I'm losing weight and I don't…
  • My high for the week is........ I finally got past the weight I always quit at! This is the lightest weight I've been in over 5 years! I lost 4 lbs this week and that was AFTER having a planned cheat day last Friday. And the hubby has now lost 51 lbs!
  • I tossed them. They were expired anyways and my coworker tired one and it was flat. So, glad I didn't risk it! I bought some of the La Croix today, surprisingly they were at the Piggly Wiggly LOL. Not bad! I got the orange. I also picked up some Dasani berry flavored ones.
  • If I'm not hungry I don't eat, so some days I only eat dinner with a few snacks. This is especially true on the weekends as I tend to sleep till noonish and go out.
  • Everyone has such cute doggies! And goats, love the goats LOL!
  • LOL - sometimes yes. He's 35 going on 13.
  • I was on vacation last weekend. I had one cheat day on Friday. I had 2 small pieces of birthday cake and some alcohol. On Sat I had a mocha latte for the trip back, that was it. On Sunday I hadn't gained or lost, by Tues I was down 2 lbs. I got right back on track Saturday afternoon and didn't look back. You'll be good!
  • Every time I check in on my phone, it does that to me. So annoying.
  • Read a Cracked article one time...... About the beaver gland thing you mentioned in another post LOL. Yeah..... um I'm beginning to really wish I didn't know some things.
  • I had the Force. It was recalled because of the skin problems and I just recently sent it back to get a Charge non HR. That was 3 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything on it. I'm starting to get annoyed.... That being said, when I used the Force one, I loved it. It synced very well and compared to the pedometer on my…
  • I've got a few things I intend to do. 1. Horseback riding. I love horses and while I'm at a weight I can ride one safely right now, I'd just feel bad for the poor horse. But 35 lbs from now..... Coworker is going to to take me out on the beach trails :) 2. Shop in the normal section for sure 3. Feel comfortable on…
  • Why wouldn't he? He's my husband. Heck, just for medical emergencies I think it's something he needs to know. If he loves you for you, $%&* a stupid number that doesn't mean anything. I know what he weighs. We're working on it together.
  • Never tried it. In fact, haven't seen it in my neck of the woods. It's pretty cheap on Amazon so might give it a try.
  • Doesn't mention fruit juice, but it being expired and the carb weirdness is throwing me off a bit. I think I'm just going to pass. I would rather indulge in a Sparkling Ice later. I love Diet Dr. Pepper, never tried the cherry though. I really need to be drinking straight up water, but blah. I want flavor LOL.
  • Every study I read had the drinkers drinking bucket-loads of green tea a day or taking a supplement...... And at the very most it may increase your metabolism by 1-4% yearly, which equates to an extra lb a year..... Um, no thanks. I like the taste of green tea and I do think it has other health benefits, but magic weight…
  • I'll have to check that out sweettea next time I head that way. If/When I get pregnant I plan on staying low carb if the Dr. says it's okay. 4 carbs a day aren't too bad I suppose for a baby's well being!
  • I take 300-500 mg of magnesium citrate daily as I was told it is absorbed better.
  • That's hilarious!
  • Apparently I've lost a midsize wolverine LOL. If only it looked like Hugh Jackman.......
  • The chromium picolinate I take is a very small pill. I get it at CVS, it's Nature's Bounty. The biotin is the CVS brand, but I've never seen a large biotin pill. Women's One a Day makes a petite version of a multi, but I can only find it on Amazon. I'm not taking a multi vitamin right now though, but I've used those in the…
  • I take 10,000 mcg's of biotin daily and started the chromium (800 mcg) two weeks ago, along with calcium and d3 (both suggested by my doctor). Other than weight loss seeming to increase, I haven't noticed anything else different. (I'm also not contributing the losses to the supplements either, that is likely purely from my…
  • My fur babies! Ria, Ash, Mischief, and Meera!
  • I did CICO for a year..... Counting calories got ingrained. I was doing 1200 a day, more if I worked out. Now I've set it to 1500, but I still can't stand seeing me go over. It's a psychological twitch I'm working on, /shrugs. Funny thing is, most days I eat less than 1200 with no hunger. On CICO, I would have been…
  • Football. OMG, so so ready for football to come back.
  • My mother has type 1. And it was just recently that her doctor told her she had to eat low carb...... 58 years and now he says that??? Since she cut them out, she doesn't need nearly as much insulin as before although she bottoms out faster. She's terrified of losing her feet since she can't feel them anymore so I will…
  • Well..... I live in Florida, which aside from the humidity is probably similar. It goes from scorching egg frying sidewalk melting hot one week to oh look the egg is only partly cooked again the next sometime in November? Maybe? Couple that with the random thunderstorm that pops up every afternoon.... I never know what to…
