Congrats!!! What an amazing accomplishment!

Forgot to mention that your husband sounds like a really amazing, supportive guy. I am lucky to have one as well.

This last winter when I put an additional twelve pounds on top of the eleven pounds I'd gained after my wedding. So 23 pounds in a year. Yikes. My clothes stopped fitting but I refused to buy a larger size. So I wore tight uncomfortable clothing and got angry enough to finally do something about it! Feel free to add me, I…

Yeah that's been true for me too. I've had a lifelong sweet tooth. I still struggle with it almost daily. But I've found that the less sugar I consume, the less I want it. At first, drinking fruit or vanilla flavored decaf tea helped. I also stopped keeping treats in the house. Finally, it helps not to talk about it! Like…

Don't dwell!! The very next meal, i.e. breakfast tomorrow morning, get back on track. And behave this weekend! This is so insignificant as long as you let it be and move on.

Several feral cats that wandered into my backyard. I was able to tame only one of them and she was still pretty wild. But so cute.

I weigh every day and log when I hit a new low weight. I inevitably go up a few ounces, or even a pound or two, thereafter but am motivated to get back down and below the lowest weight.

I try to stay at or under 50g.

The creepiest: "You have a beautiful belly." Said to me by some passing guy on a sidewalk while I was on my phone. The wind had briefly blown my shirt slightly up. The funniest: "You lookin' good tonight!" Also said by a passing guy on a sidewalk after I had just finished a run. I couldn't help but laugh and say thanks. I…

Hahaha!!!! This made me laugh out loud. My DH had a bit of a moob situation and that didn't stop me from marrying him. When I finally decided to change my diet and exercise routine, he benefited from the healthier lifestyle changes too. Moobs are gone! Now he's the hot one.

Congratulations on your significant weight loss thus far and sharing your story. I can't imagine growing up not hearing that my parents love me. I am so excited for you though because you are young and can make the best of the rest of your thirties!

I log when I see a new low weight on the scale. Inevitably I will see a slight increase the next several times I weighed myself, but I always go down again and then some more. I figure that rather than having numbers zigzagging up and down, I will only track the losses. And it's motivation to get back to that lower number!…

It took me a long time to figure this out for myself. You can't work off a bad diet.
-
Bump! Need to revisit this today.

Squats, lunges, push ups, sit ups, tricep dips, pull ups, reverse lunges and burpees. That's more than five and not really traditional lifting exercises. I do more of a cross fit style circuit training work out. But these work for me!

Cut out the PowerAde. You don't need it if you're just walking. That stuff is full of sugar.

Yay welcome to my fitness pal!!! It's the perfect place to find support and inspiration when your friends and family are sick of hearing about your diet. It gets easier and will eventually become second nature. Feel free to add me! I like new friends

That's how I rationalize not eating breakfast!
-
I almost never eat breakfast. I'm the same as you. I just don't get hungry until later. If anything, the few calories I consume in my morning coffee are enough to hold me until lunch. So far, not eating breakfast has not inhibited my weight loss, as far as I can tell.

Lunch and dinner. I'm not much of a breakfast person. Yeah yeah I know it's the "most important meal of the day." I seem to be doing fine without it .

Joe Mangianello. I love his commitment to working out, and that body...

Switched from skim milk to unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Switched from hamburger buns to lettuce. Switched from bread to low carb wraps. Switched from sugary flavored yogurt to plain. Switched from peanut butter to almond butter. Stopped putting sugar in my coffee. Switched from beer to red wine. Switched from crackers…

Totally. I also have found that it's become almost second nature at this point. I don't have trouble ordering food at restaurants anymore. I know what I can eat without going too high on my carb intake. I feel in control and not subject to the highs and lows of food cravings. Most of the time.

Black coffee.

Pomegranate, almonds and bittersweet chocolate chips!
-
I weigh myself like three times a day! Haha. But I don't take it too seriously.
-
Good luck to you! I took it several years ago. I think I was one of the few people who stress ate and gained weight. Everyone else I know was too scared to eat. Anyway, don't even worry about your diet right now. The most important thing is to fuel yourself to keep studying. These last few weeks are the most important.…

And please feel free to friend me too!

Bekitts put your ticker on and as you drop weight it'll be so motivating to see the pounds you've lost. Don't be afraid to get active on the forums. Anytime I'm struggling I go straight to the motivation and support forum. It helps to know I'm not alone. Also, you will struggle at first, and the struggle will get better…

Nice!! There's just something about it!
