That's a great idea! I'm literally on day 2 of tracking again, so it's a little early for me to be thinking I deserve a treat. I had several false starts in January and I really need to go at least a few more days before I can let myself have a cookie. Otherwise I'll just get derailed again. I'm all or nothing, at least in…

Thank you for the reply!! Okay you've convinced me, I won't give in. I have kids too, and it's almost impossible to keep the junk out of the house. I just have to be stronger! Thanks again and good job on resisting your own temptations! :D

I'm so sorry to hear about your spinal injury. I hope you can run again someday! :'( IF is the only thing that really works for me. I've been doing it on and off for years before anyone called it "IF". Sometimes I'll fast all day and just eat a big dinner. Sometimes I'll do the 16/8 thing where you wait to eat until 16…

Mfp helped me lose 25 pounds five years ago! Since then, I've maintained the loss more or less, but keep coming back when I've gained a bit. Tracking and coming to the forums helps get me back on track, which I need right now because I'm back up again. I need to lose 11 pounds by no certain date. Good luck to everyone!

I had my own come to Jesus moment last night after I ate a big bowl of ice cream. I've been working out regularly since November but have gained five pounds. So annoying. But I know it's because I delude myself into thinking that because I'm working out, I can eat more. Nope. Today I'm officially back on track with…

One of my goals for 2020 is to stop wasting time and energy on people and things that don't reciprocate my efforts. I'm also not going to "force" anything that isn't working for me or doesn't feel right. I'm not going to do things just because I feel like I should or just because someone else wants me to.

How was the gallbladder surgery? I had a baby in May and have lost all but ten pounds of baby weight, but now I'm being told my gallbladder needs to come out. I'm scared!

I couldn't believe how good the vanilla bean was after I microwaved it for 45 seconds. Going to try the lemon tonight!

This is very exciting. I am going out to buy some today. I really didn't like arctic zero, but I'm curious to know what zero calorie marshmallow and caramel dip you used @JinjoJoey

So sorry OP, my heart goes out to you. As hard as it is to be the victim of bullying, and as deep as those wounds cut, try to remember that they are saying those things about you because they are unhappy with themselves. Happy, well adjusted people don't engage in this nasty behavior. That said, there is no excuse and they…

Nothing tastes as good as fitting into your smaller clothing feels (modification of original quote). Congrats!!

I don't know how long it will take you to get back into ketosis eating that way. I know that for me, I have to work extra hard during the week to make up for anything bad I ate over the weekend. Have you considered swapping beer for wine or spirits, and eating your burger with a lettuce wrap instead of a bun? Certainly not…

Awesome tips and congrats for maintaining for four months! I love that you are active at least 60 minutes every day. It's inspiring.

We don't have kids but I don't cook anything different for my husband and he has lost even more weight than me by eating my low carb dinners! And he doesn't eat low carb at breakfast or lunch. Not fair, right? :p

Go on Pinterest and look up crossfit style workouts to do at home. I do a series of squats, lunges, jumping jacks, jump rope, push-ups, sit-ups, etc. This, combined with eating at a calorie deficit, will lead to weight loss. I have lost 29 pounds without going to a gym once. Good luck!

I started on March 1, 2014 and I hit my 25 pound loss on November 11, 2014. I probably could have done it faster, but I don't think there is any deadline for weight loss, as it's pretty unpredictable Anyway, I started out by eating low-carb. That helped me get into a routine of healthier eating. Then I bought a food scale,…

Don't save them! Donate them. If at some point you put the weight back on (which you won't!!!!) they will be out of style by then. But I reiterate, you won't put the weight back on. ;) Congrats on your amazing loss!

This is how I've lost 24 pounds since March! Who knew this whole time it had more to do with eating? (I think I knew but didn't want to acknowledge it). Keep up the good work!

Work stresses me out too and lately I'm getting up two or three times in a night to go to the bathroom. I don't like to take it every night, but if I have a feeling I'm not going to sleep well, I take melatonin. It's great and I find that I'm less drowsy the next morning than if I'd taken benadryl or Advil pm. An even…

Weekends are the most challenging time for me too! I try to plan my meals for the weekend ahead of time, and I tell myself that I'm going to exercise both Saturday and Sunday. It helps to focus on the weekend as a time to advance fitness goals. Also, if I'm going out to dinner or to a friend's house and I know there will…
