LOVE IT! I often think that reading these threads. Thank you for voicing it for me :flowerforyou:

I don't have a good answer but I went to the doc to do x-rays to see if it was arthritis. There was some minor stuff but really nothing major. She put me on an Aleve regimen of 2 in the morning and 2 at night for 2-3 weeks and the difference was HUGE. Good luck!

woo hoo you look fantastic!

;-) I'm a b-more gal and we're loving on Chris Davis :flowerforyou:

very sad and thoughts and prayers to the families of these very brave men and its hard imagine the pain of the whole town.

What a beautiful girl! You were beautiful before too now your features (eyes) are so much more pronounced. Congrats!

close enough to quote. I quit 4 1/2 years ago cold turkey. guess I was just ready

I am so very sorry about this scary journey you are going through, And you're right it shouldn't have to a 30 year old, or a child or anyone else. It sucks! You have doctors you trust and that is the most critical part of this passage for you. I'm a lot older than you but had breast cancer and was one of the lucky ones to…

agree. sorry you have to go through this and sounds like its time to find new friends. I can't imagine my sister ever saying anything negative about my physical body so really don't have any advice other than you need to love yourself more than their hateful words:flowerforyou:

aw, you won't starve I promise. I choose not to eat anything (other than cream in my coffee which is mandatory) until dinner. I enjoy more calorie rich dinners but everyone is different. you'll do great. friend me if I can help
-
makes sense to me

bumping for suggestions later

welcome home and welcome to MFP. Thank you for your service and I would be proud to have you add me to your friend list. Not sure if I can help a lot or not but I'll try. Best wishes to you and you'll take it off I have no doubt about that.

I'm 58 almost 59 year old and if I can do this so can you. you do it step by step, baby step by baby step. you're not going to be "perfect" but you don't have to be. You only have to want it bad enough to be more on track than not. this is a public forum and there are a lot of us who can help you if you want it. add me if…

3.I don't have over 50lbs to lose, I have less than 15 now OP this wasn't directed at you. You asked a question and I read no more into it than that. It just gets really old reading the same people spout their "expert" opinions.
-
BIngo! and why do people who have over 50 lbs to lose think they are the experts at what other people should do? very puzzling indeed
-
Only quoted because it made me laugh ... that said, I agree!
-
I agree with this. I don't know if 1200 calories is too low or not but you're not going into "starvation mode". You're working hard and going over a little one day will have no impact on your loss. Its total deficit not daily so really don't stress over that. It will happen if you stay focused on your goal and tweak what…

First, congratulations to you on making the decision to quit smoking. I smoked a lot longer than you but gave it up 4+ years ago cold turkey and never gained a lb... the weight I had to lose I still had to lose but no more. some people use cinnamon sticks or something to help with the oral habit. Whatever it takes and…
