well the laziness I can't help you with but as far as not wanting to track out of embarrassment that's easy. Keep your diary private and only you can see it. It will help you identify what your food issues/problems/challenges are and keep everyone else out. This is for you not for anyone else so do what works for you and…

I track the exercise calories that the treadmill or other equipment says but just because I told one of my friends when I work so hard I want to see high #'s... just ego but I don't eat back my calories so it doesn't matter to me if they're inflated. Whatever works for you is the right answer:flowerforyou:

If you are using MFP's calorie goal vs. TDEE it really shouldn't be counted. I mean you can count it but I wouldn't eat back those calories only those that above your daily routine i.e. specific exercises.

you really are adorable and a very sweet posting. Your positive attitude will take you far in every aspect of your life. Congrats

welcome back and wishing you every success! Positive energy is a great way to get started so keep it up and if we can help along the way, reach out :flowerforyou:

120/ now 118 there were many variations throughout the years but it looks right now ;-)

I quoted not because I've had the same issues but sounds like great advice. I would get that book and do the exercised that they recommend. Eat as healthy as you can and it will happen!

welcome to MFP ;-) Glad you found the site it really is a treasure of good ideas and sharing. You have fabulous energy which I can hear in your posting and if I can help I'm on daily! Best of luck to you and stay positive!!!!

there's not one answer to this and the HRM is the closest you will come but if you have a treadmill that tracks calories based on weight and incline, take that number and you can add the exercise to your own database. remember to track it down as you lose weight. For example, I do a 10.0-11.0 incline at 3.8 or 3.9 walk.…

sending FR and so sorry about your accident and the demise of your bike but much more concerned about you. You're a brave gal and you'll get "back in the saddle" so to speak in no time. Sounds like you had a rough one and you sound really grounded! Congrats on taking hold of this and not letting it take you down…

WOW just WOW I think your success story has to be the most moving I have read in a long time. You have overcome so many challenges and you should be so amazingly proud of yourself I don't even know you and I am so proud of you I want to give you a hug. :flowerforyou:

made me LOL but seriously just lose the packaged meals if you can. you don't have to go cold turkey just cut back and see how much better you feel... you'll likely choose to give them up other than in desperation. Good luck!

I am 59 years old, got the shot for the past 20 years and have NEVER had the flu. As a matter of fact I had a doc apt today and while I was there got the shot. some people are skeptical of flu and other vaccines but I believe the science is more right than wrong so I just go with it

I think you are amazing and more important HUMAN! I've broken the same rules and somehow at the age of 59 still breathe and eat. Proud of your success and your ability to humanise your experiences!
-

Good for you Victoria ;-) And you're right the most important and one of the hardest achievements is to quit smoking!!! Good for you. I quit 5 years ago and never looked back. I'm on daily and even though close to my goal don't plan on going anywhere. I'm a supportive friend and happy to help if you want to add me. Take…

its multi level marketing... if you want to buy it buy it. if not, don't. I would NEVER spend good money on herbalife or shakeology or any other MLM product. I sense a coach or two on this posting ;-)

I say yes unless you have been eating more than allotted amount. We all retain fluids and the time of day, sodium levels etc. all contribute. If the loss shows and it sticks for a few days, its real.... vice versa with the gain
-
Hey there, I've been on for a while and close to goal but don't plan on going anywhere any time soon ;-) I like your attitude and I'm personally a wine drinker but we could still be friends. Feel free to add me if I can help support you along the way :drinker:

There was a very similar situation at my gym. Young guy on the treadmill, very lean. One minute he's running, the next he's down. Thankfully they are associated with a hospital group and in addition to having someone call the paramedics, they used the defib and he was okay. scary to see though and you have to listen to…

Hi there, I'm 5'2" and currently weigh 119.3ish. My original goal was 120 but I am really quite small framed so going for 115. I would be fine where I am now so not stressing it but the goals are based on your body shape and where you are comfortable. I'm also 59 years old so not as stressed about my weight (as long as its…
