Hi there! 2 year (almost 3) breast cancer survivor. I was fortunate and didn't have chemo jut lumpectomy and radiation (and these nasty 5 year pills). I laughed at the time that I had to be the only person who gained weight with cancer. I'm pretty much at my goal weight now but continue to log so I am aware of what I eat…
-
me too! funny:laugh: Honestly, I've never heard of it.
-
You look wonderful! Congratulations to you and keep it up!:flowerforyou:

Hi Sara, not quite a senior but close  I'm 58 and started MFP a few months ago. I didn't have that much to lose but find the tracking very helpful. 2 away from goal but I'll stay on in maintenance to keep me focused! Good luck to you and if I can help I'm happy to do that!:flowerforyou:
-
Of course this! Not in the least insulting to the people who need them and horribly insulting to your friends who can buy their own
-
I started doing the 5.2 diet (there is a group on MFP) about a month ago. I like it and its not a true fast its 500 calories a day for women and 600 for men. I'm doing 2 days a week and have found it easy to do and I feel good

Every work day I have egg whites with ham in a self contained omelete. On weekends it is always bacon and eggs. (not just because low carb I just LOVE bacon!)
-
You'll do this as long as you stay committed to your long term goals. Make friends (you can add me if I can help), share your successes and your challenges. Its your life and you have taken a wonderful first step. Good luck!:flowerforyou:

2004 Toyota Solara - 215,000 miles.... all original parts... love my car and it will make me sad the day I have to get a new one ;:brokenheart: I'll stick with Toyota probably. Don't make Solara's anymore so have to find a new car love:cry:

absolutely this in total! Love love love sushi and sashimi but start with the cooked things first and then experiment with tuna and other types. I still can't stomach any of the "chewy" ones. Have fun:wink:

34. of course you look much younger but you wouldn't ask if it wasn't a stumper ;-)
-
I am so very happy that you have completed this battle and all my prayers for your good heath and a long wonderful life. I had radiation (no chemo) but I am so much older than you and it brings me to tears when young people like you have this battle... but you are a very brave person and HUGS from Baltimore!
