Hi RolandWeary and Happy New Year to you. You have to start somewhere so this is where you start. I can't do this for you but if you want we can add each other with a Friend Request and maybe you'll find some motivation along the way. Move more eat less, not complicated just have to do it! Good luck!

I saw your story before and you are just amazing and such a beautiful girl ;-) congratulations and I especially love your message of not letting anyone take your happy ;-) very special

Best of luck to you with your weight loss goals. Your exercise plan sounds great but I would log the calories if you really want to see what you're eating. That's really kinda the point of MFP. It was shocking to me to see how many calories were in some of the foods I was eating. Also you say you have no time frame but…

hey, welcome back! I'm pretty much at goal but log on faithfully to track my food/exercise and support my friends. I'd be happy to help if I can. Send me a FR if you'd like. Welcome again and as for your knees I agree that swimming and the bike are your best options. Best to you in the new year!

welcome and certainly not encouraged and most have pretty snarky comments about them (I happen to agree with them just thought I would share)
-
sent you a friend request.. I go to my gym almost daily and I'm a 59 year old woman ;-) Good luck
-
Me too! You are amazingly brave and even though I had cancer (breast) it was early stage and the treatment was not that hard for me. I will continue to pray for your 100% recovery ... HUGS
-
who cares what one a-hole says about anything. ignore him/her and move on. your life/your challenges/your ability to take hold of this on your own (along with your MFP friends of course). Good luck!!!!
-
I also don't know about the nagging other than making people feel guilty if I'm doing the work and they aren't (I'm 59 y.o.)... have gotten more than a few friends off their "bums". ;-) Add me if I can help!
-
I'm going to start a 30 day detox to get started........
-
I'm in. One of my goals is to exercise daily. I do most days now so this should work out great
-
If its not too late... I'm in: Exercise every day No alcohol during the week (can I count this since weekends I'm not restricting?) Drink 10-12 glasses of water each day
-
that's horrible. I've read many articles about being careful about salads... most (unless you make it yourself) are not healthy and loaded with calories... sucks though ;-( sorry
-
I'm 59 and exercise on average 5 days a week. (not always but usually). It is harder especially if you are post menopausal but if you eat right, log your food and exercise religiously, you'll lose the weight ;-) Welcome and if I can help feel free to add me. Happy 2014!

And I quote from you: "Are these people actually thinking this? I have no idea. I think I'm finally at a point where I do not care. I really want to do this for me this time! I'm determined to learn how to change my ways to make this life long, not just "I'll do this till I get to my goal weight and then do what I want" as…
