I've tried that. Does nothing for me. I'm beyond creaky joints. Bone on bone in the knees, FAI surgery on both hips, and now bone spurs in the shoulder causing impingement and severe rotator cuff issues. Ugh! I too don't so moving. I push thru the pain and refuse medication for it.

Thanks Zinka61.

Hi. I just got the big 5-0 two days ago. You're welcome to add me.

What everyone said above is true. You haven't been at it long, weight loss is linear. I've lost a ton of weight with the help of mfp. If I had a graph you'd see I went up and down on the scale along with way. I don't know your calorie goal and if you're eating that much under your calorie goal and working out as much as…

Honestly can't help you much on the food and exercise portion as I don't know what your calories are set at, how far below you're eating. Weight loss isn't linear. Sometimes you gain and then lose, and it's like a graph with ups and downs but should steadily trend down in the long run. Friends..friends are a great support…

Thanks everyone. Glad to have some new friends from this post.

Hi. Never left, just been laying low

I'm here everyday. 1850 consecutive days as of today. I've lost 100 pounds using mfp, gained 10 after a long injury and didn't walk for a year, but I'm hanging in here and working hard to drop that 10 I found. Feel free to add me.

Bumping up this OLD post because this statement still rings true. I'm also looking for some new mfp buddies. Friend request me

LOL! Amazing! I'm so glad I snapped out of the low cal trap. My fitbit is showing me an average daily burn of over 3,000 cals a day. Going to have to find some high cal, dense, foods. I came from 1,200 to 2,000 and this week I'm striving for 2,100. I started eating full fat dairy products, etc. to help with the cals.

GREAT suggestion for calorie intake. I LOVE the full fat versions but have been preached to since I was 12 and diagnosed diabetic to stay away from the fat, was told about heart disease, etc. I'm a huge fan of full fat, raw milk and would love to indulge. Your thoughts on this.

This week I'm up maybe 1 of those pounds, so still at a loss. My fitbit shows me burning 3,000+ on my workout days and yesterday was a complete rest day and it showed me at 2,600. I'm raised to 2,000 from 1,200 and will up the cals again slowly. Giving this entire process all the time it takes.

I'm not concerned. Just wondering if others had the same with their Fitbit. It's just a drop in the bucket for me with how active I am

Hi, you're welcome to add me. I've lost 100 pounds and have kept it off for over 3 years. Still want to ditch another 20.

^^THIS^^ I'm a type 1 diabetic and I follow a more low glycemic index for selecting foods. After all these years I've also learned which carbs effect me personally. I've found what can bother me as a diabetic might not bother another. Avoid "white" carbs and choose from the slow carbs (low glycemic). Lots of info and books…

You're not losing anymore because you aren't eating enough. I've been on this same cycle as you are on. I lost 100 pounds in a year, then stalled out for 3 LONG YEARS eating at 1200 calories, hard workouts and nothing lost. Then I educated myself on EM2WL. I am now eating at 2,000 calories and the scale is going down…

Been there. I severely broke my foot and didn't walk, no weight bearing at all, for 10 months. I just focused on maintaining and letting my body heal. Weight loss is primarily done in the kitchen and exercise is just icing on the cake. Just watch your intake and try some upper body work.

Forgot one important piece of info. The link to my fitbit https://www.fitbit.com/user/24N6D7

Hi, new charge HR user here. I got mine last week. I borrowed a fitbit from a friend two years ago, used it for a week and gave it back. Now I have the HR and LOVE it. I've been on MFP for over 4 years, lost 100 pounds in the first year and then stalled. I was eating a VLCD and recently started EM2LW and the scale is…

I did fine at 1200 for a year. Lost a large amount of weight that I'm thankful for BUT like the OP, I stalled out. I continued to eat 1200 for 3 years, saw doctors about not losing, had lab tests to check thyroid, etc. Was told to lower cals more to 1,000. Glad I ignored them and looked at EM2LW and bumped up calories and…

I'm 5' 8" and my thinking is you're where you should be. Also, I learned the hard way to NOT eat 1200 calories. I stalled out for 3 years at that calorie intake and being very active. I began EM2WL and happily eating 2,000 calories a day and losing again. There's a great group here on MFP for Eating More 2 Weigh Less. BTW,…
