Accurate weighing on one foot?
I broke my foot a few weeks ago, had surgery to repair it and can't weight bear for yet another few weeks. Was wondering if you can accurately weigh yourself balancing on one foot on the scale? I'm eating at a lower deficit to accomodate not being able to exercise or move about as I used to and I'm completely fearful of…

Exhausted!
Hi Ladies, Been ages since I've posted. Going to be 50 next month and perimenopause is kicking my *kitten*. Periods are hit and miss, sleep isn't good, I feel hot and then cold (no sweating though), I'm foggy headed, but the biggest thing is the crushing exhaustion and the feeling of dread. God please tell me this gets…

Orthopedic Mess
I got dealt the crap hand in cards with orthopedic issues. Already had FAI in both hips and bilateral hip surgeries to slow down the need for hip replacements. I have one knee that needs replacement, bone on bone there and now it seems a torn labrum in my shoulder. UGH! I don't like being slowed down. Really watching my…

My 1st week in...a big loss
I'll make this short and sweet. I introduced myself last week when I joined this group, but I'll recap. I joined mfp just over 4 years ago. I lost 100 pounds in exactly 1 year and had about 20 left to goal and then the weight loss stopped. I stalled out for 3 LONG years. I'm 5' 8" and active and had various doctors tell me…

Fitbit Charge HR false steps & missed stairs
I got a new Charge 10 days ago. Last night I was at a MLB game and noticed that I gained 500, or so, extra steps all while I was seated enjoying the game. Those false steps were caused from clapping. 500 is a drop in the bucket compared to my over 20,000 steps in a day average. Anyone else experience false steps? I also…

Fitbit Charge HR Accuracy
Hi. I'm new here and I just got the Fitbit HR yesterday. I didn't start wearing it until about 3:30 in the afternoon and by bedtime I was up to around 2,100 calories burned. I was tremendously busy moving around until I even started to wear it and I didn't have gym time yesterday. It will be interesting to see how much it…

Trigger Finger and Orthopedi / Tendonitis issues anyone?
OUCH! I have trigger finger. I had this years ago in both of my thumbs and did the surgery to release it. I hear it's more common in diabetics, especially women. Anyone else with this? Also, anyone else with more orthopedic issues as well? I don't have any of the main diabetic complications but I seem to get my share of…

Body Weight and Set Point Theory?
I'm very curious if it's true that our bodies have a set weight point. I've lost 112 pounds in one year and now for the past 4 1/2 months I've been completely stuck.
