Anyone Need Medtronic Pump Reservoirs?
I have about 10 boxes of Medtronic Paradigm 3.0 ml pump reservoirs. I got a new pump and went with the smaller pump and don't need these reservoirs anymore. I hate to see these brand new boxes go to waste and looking to pass them along. PM me if you're in need or know of another diabetic in need. Cindy

Mid 40s & trying to lose the last stubborn 15 Anyone else?
Hi, Not new to MFP. I lost over 100 pounds my first year on MFP. No surgery, no special diets, just the "old fashioned" way. I'm now stalled big time on these last 10 to 15 pounds. I remember when I first started this journey and I would hear someone talk about how hard it was to lose 10 pounds and I'm sure I rolled my…

2 People STILL Fit in My Fat Pants..110 lb. lost forever
In my first year on MFP I lost a stagger 110 pounds. At that time my 9 1/2 year old daughter and I climbed into my old size 24 jeans and got our picture made. Today, 16 months after that first picture was made we climbed back into the pants. She will be 11 this month and has grown quite a bit. I've maintained my weight…

Combined Weight Loss of 152 Pounds
I've posted here and there about my weight loss but finally came across some before pictures of my husband and I together for some before and after (current). I joined MFP in Janaury 2011 and in January 2012 I have a recorded loss of 112 pounds. My husband started a couple of months later after seeing the pounds melt off…

113 Pounds Lost in 1 year...Updated Pictures
My original post has popped back up. I'm glad as I love to inspire those around me to never give up. Hip Labral Tear
Seems I have a labral tear in my left hip. Done PT and medications with no help. Been in pain for three years and it's gotten progressively worse. Looks like surgery time. Anyone had this surgery? Please tell me what it was like for you, what can I expect. How long was recovery for you? How long until you could do some…

Beta Blockers Stopping Weight Loss?
I was wondering if anyone was / is in the same boat I'm in? When I joined mfp I lost 100 pounds in 9 months, then reached 110 pounds lost by one year. At that one year mark I was put on a beta blocker for annoying pvc's. Since I started the medication I've continued with eating at a deficit and continued with my workouts.…

Fitbit Calorie Question
Ok, I'm on day 3 of wearing the fitbit. I lost a 110 pounds in one year on mfp and then hit a huge 14 month stall. I've tried everything and now trying the fitbit to see just how much I'm burning during the day. With the last 15 pounds to lose there is much less room for error. How accurate is this thing? I plugged in that…

113 lbs. lost and my brain is starting to catch on
The brain definitely takes longer in the weight loss process, at least that's the case with me. Lately, I'm not looking at the last 10 pounds that are fighting me and are so difficult to come off. Instead I started to look back. Back at the hurdles I've cleared. I lost a staggering 113 pounds in one year, all natural with…

Here's another one from me. Before I list the ingredients let me say this tastes like thick chocolate cake batter in your cup. Fitbit. Worth it or not?
I'm curious about the fitbit. I wear a Polar ft7 when working out but not sure how the fitbit really accurately measures calories burned when it isn't tracking your heartrate. Tracking sleep? Does it track calories burned other than walking? Please convince me yes or no on this gadget. As you can see from my ticker that…

I'm at GOAL! 112 lbs lost, new life found. Pics
Hey everyone. I turned 45 yesterday and I feel I can now say I am at goal weight. I lost 112 pounds in exactly one year on MFP. No surgery, no special programs, just healthy diet and exercise. I have struggled the last 4 1/2 months to lose another 10 pounds but it's not budging and after talking with 3 of my doctors I have…

110 lbs Lost in Year One, 730 Consecutive Days, Pics!
I don't know where to begin. What a journey this has and continues to be. I joined mfp 2 years ago today weighing in at an all time high of 277 pounds on my 5' 8" frame. I faced many healthy issues. Type 1 diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, partial blockage of one of the arteries of my heart and I knew…

Lost over 100 pounds & found Fountain of Youth?
I'm sure many of you have seen my posts here and there but lately I've been hearing that I look younger after losing weight. Now that's an added bonus I didn't think about. Sometimes extreme weight loss can have the opposite effect, so I'm glad if this is the case. Here's a side by side picture. My "before" picture I am 12…

Any Deep Water Runners?
I have a running injury and I was strictly told no running for the time being. It might be several months before I'm back to running and I don't want to lose my fitness level. I am biking but with a pool in my own backyard it makes sense to put it into further use. Anyone out there do water running while off on an injury…

Eating more to lose...finally working
I'll try to make this short. I lost my first 100 pounds in 9 months and then things really slowed down. I lost my first 111 pounds by my one year anniversary on MFP and the last 2 pounds have taken nearly 8 months. I tried everything. So, I gradually upped my calories and I promised myself to not flip out when the scale…

Anyone 5' 8" and what's your goal weight?
Hi Everyone, I posted this to the boards but don't know where all the age 40 women are that are my height. Maybe someone here is. I'm 44, started mfp 1 year ago and lost 111 pounds. I'm getting a lot of "you don't need to lose anymore weight" comments from my friends. I was 277 pounds when I started losing and I'm 166 now.…

I SAVED MY LIFE! 112 pounds lost & Heart Attack Avoided
The BEST victory ever. Sure, losing 112 pounds in a year was life changing but I was digging myself an early grave with my previous lifestyle. As I became increasingly active, and began intense cardio exercise, I began to have these weird "extra" heart beats called PVC's. Typically, they are benign but I was having an…

The last 10 are the hardest. I used to laugh at that.
When I joined MFP I was looking down a long road of needing to lose 127 pounds. It seemed so overwhelming, such a huge task and I wanted to roll my eyes when I heard someone complain about needing to lose 10 pounds. Now, here I am. I'm in the home stretch and the last 10 refuse to come off. Now I feel like I'm in the thick…

On Beta Blocker & Looking for friends
Hi, A couple of months ago I had to start on a beta blocker due to having a high volume of PVCs (heart arrhythmia). I had lost 112 pounds in a year and have been exercising heavily and using an HRM. Any Runners???
I'm on a pump and I'm having a horrible time keeping my blood sugars stable while running. I eat a good snack prior to my run, I turn my pump off and I still bottom out. Was wondering if anyone else runs and what works for them?

Any Diabetic Runners?
I'm a type 1 diabetic and I use an insulin pump. I'm having the hardest time keeping my blood sugar level when I run and I was wondering if there was any other diabetic runners out there and what they do? I always eat a snack (must not be enough or the right kind) and I turn my pump off prior to exercise. Thanks.

BodPod Testing to show doctor that BMI charts suck!
I had to change primary care doctors recently. I saw him for the first time a couple of weeks ago and we were going over my medical history. I told him I recently lost 112 pounds. He says "how tall are you?" I tell him I'm 5' 8." I'm medium framed and he goes over to the BMI chart on the wall and says "you're at the top of…
