Orthopedic Mess

I got dealt the crap hand in cards with orthopedic issues. Already had FAI in both hips and bilateral hip surgeries to slow down the need for hip replacements. I have one knee that needs replacement, bone on bone there and now it seems a torn labrum in my shoulder. UGH! I don't like being slowed down. Really watching my diet to match the decline in my workouts.

I could use some friends that can somewhat relate.

Sorry to hear you are having to deal with all these issues. In 2016 I had hip arthroscopy in each hip (5 months apart) to correct FAI and labral tears. It has definitely been a long journey but finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I went to Physical Therapy until the end of 2016 and am now just starting to get back to the gym on my own. After 2 hip surgeries I feel very out of shape. I am an avid hiker/backpacker so that is my goal...to get back in shape and on the trail without pain. If you'd ever like to talk, I'm available...I know how hard it is to recover from hip surgeries. I'm also really big into healthy cooking, so I'm all for sharing recipes.
