This is just me, but I have to eat enough, or I will lack energy the next day. I have to eat between 1200 and 1500 calories or I won't feel right the next day. Pilates, yoga, zumba, wii games, xbox games, walk around the neighborhood, aerobics dvd.......I exercise at home all of the time...I don't want a gym membership. Had one and didn't do it....I just pop in a dvd or a game and I get going....I also walk my dog 2 miles per day.

I am down 22 lbs and down at least one dress size. I think exercise has a lot to do with it. I know a couple of women who didn't lose alot of weight, but lost tons of inches and were down many sizes just from the inches....

It is sad....she is going to have to change her inside if she wants lasting change on her outside....Sometimes it is about self love. She has to learn to love herself. I hope she makes that change soon.

he is right. When your body gets thirsty, then you are already in the process of being dehydrated. If I drink a cup when I wake, a cup with each meal and a cup before and after I exercise, and a cup before bed, I have had enough and don't have to think about it....and I don't ever feel thirsty.

Welcome to the site. You CAN do this. As long as you cut calories, but not too low, and exercise, you will lose weight. 1 to 2 lbs per week is a healthy weight loss. So good luck on this journey, and we are all here to support, encourage, motivate and cheer you along the way.

I don't keep track of my water. What I do is drink a glass with every meal and I will also drink 1 or two cups of green tea-which I just read hydrates you like water does-and when I am at work, on my breaks I sip from the water fountain on each one. I also drink a cup after a work out. Glad to see you are still here. : )

I don't plan for the week, but I plan for the day. When I wake up in the morning I figure out everything for the day....I also plan on what I will cook for supper the night before. I change my mind too much to plan for the week. But, I also go to the grocery more than once a week.
