do you even know what you're talking about? for a petite woman, 1500 calories is perfectly fine to maintain. isnt the goal to not eat like a cow any more? if you cant do that on 1500, idk what to tell you. factor in exercise and eating back a little bit more...where is the problem here?

I'd like to dispel the myth of 1200 and 2lb set weight loss. WHATEVER I put my goals at (for reference, my goal has ALWAYS been set at 1-1/2lbs) I get 1200 calories. My TDEE - 20% = 1226 My TDEE - 10% = 1380 Don't assume that everyone on 1200 calories is wrong, please.

there's a saying 'moment on the lips, lifetime on the hips' point is: it's easy to put weight on, much harder to lose it. a stone in a month is ridiculous and you're setting yourself up for a fall. 1 - 1/2lbs per week is steady and attainable with a sensible calorie deficit and exercise.

I like this notion that I heard: If you feel pangs in your belly, you're hungry. If you feel it in your mouth, you're thirsty. I've upped my water intake significantly in the past week and the scale is moving when I've been in a plateau for the last 3 weeks. I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I'm doing my body good…

what do you want people to say? he says he loves you the way you are which means unconditionally. your body still makes you feel bad, im assuming your on MFP because youre in progress of changing this....carry on and you will see results.

500 calories and then 1000 calories...that is just not enough and is unsustainable. it is also impossible to gain 2lbs in 2 days. little common sense here... up your calories NOW to at least NET 1200. That means, if you exercise, eat your calories back so you hit 1200 or at least around it.

Ignore them. The scale doesn't lie and if you can notice the difference and YOU know what your body looks like then who cares? I actually got comments pretty quickly which I'm grateful for. I would however much rather not talk about it. It's my 'own' thing and I don't want to bore my friends with it :laugh:

i think i must be part of a small minority of vegetarians who cant stand tofu. ive tried scramble, grilling etc. just tastes horrible to me. the only time ive been able to stand it is in a thai restaurant.
