Personally, I record once a week at the very end of the day. This way I figure I am at my heaviest so any loss is permanent. Unless, I binge or over eat. :flowerforyou:

I agree.

I have not cut out anything. But, I have cut the size of my portions. Seems to be working. I eat healthy foods normally even when I was at my heaviest.

0.00 Walking is free. And I have a "Total Gym" at home, bought it years ago.

He did not reject you because of your weight. He is just plain nuts. You are lucky to get away from him. This guy sounds like an emotional abuser. Stay away from him. Anyway, My two cents worth.

Did Atkins for two years, and a regular low calorie diet for two years. Lost the same amount of weight on both. So staying with the regular low calorie now.

I walk using a classical music station. No words.

Once a week because it fluctuates over time.

I don't see any time for rest and recuperation.

How about just taking a walk and observing what you see. No other thoughts. no expectations. Stop when you want. it helps.

For me it was easier to go through without hormone replacements. I let nature take its course. I did gain a bit, but it was mostly from overeating. Stuffed myself with carbs.

I think a lot of us here have or are feeling the same as you. That is why we are here. As you progress with your weight loss every little victory will help with the depression. Don't give up. :flowerforyou:

After many tries, I quit smoking cold turkey 13 years ago. It is difficult. I pictured something I called a "Nicodemon" a little demon who would try to get me to pick up and smoke. I would have arguments with this imaginary being. Silly I know but it helped me. Also, I quit smoking in my house. Hope this helps.

I have a little saying that I repeat to myself when I feel overwhelmed by anything. "Inch by Inch life's a cinch, yard by yard it's very hard." Try to take it inch by inch. Instead of truck stops to eat; how about fruit and veggie stands. Pick up a bunch of them and keep them in the truck for snacks. I'm not sure but I…

If the weather has changed from cold to warm you could be retaining water. I retain on hot days and lose on cooler days.

It is definitely an adventure losing weight. After awhile it gets to be fun. I like counting calories and rejoice when I can be under my daily limit. Like a contest of sorts.

I'm looking forward to wolf whistles when I walk down the street. Like I used to get many years ago.

No fear here, I can't wait to fit back into all of my jeans. As of now, I avoid them. :ohwell:

For me, being overweight causes depression and lack of motivation. The more I exercise and the more weight I lose the better I feel. I have more energy and a better outlook. Being on MFP is very motivational.

Could be water weight gain or muscle building that prevents the loss. Some weeks you will drop a few pounds and others there will be no loss. Just keep doing what you are doing.
-
Welcome to MFP Hope it will be a good experience for you.

Eat enough to assuage the hunger. I prefer not to eat them back. Some people do.
