1100 calories is not okay. EDIT: I'd like to add that most doctors take 4 hours or less of nutritional courses. If you want a doctor's advice on healthy weight loss, see a Nutritionist...NOT to be confused with a Dietician.

We just answered all of your questions in your other thread. Why ask for advice if you aren't going to take it? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1251091-need-help

Oh, I like you. We have similar mindsets. :D
-
Correct. EDIT: But keep in mind with so little to lose, it will take time. Loss might not always be linear. Loss will be very slow.

I like to keep a small list. I have some criteria that is only personal to me on who to keep, add or toss. Won't bore with specifics, but it all comes down to this: it's my account/page and I'll do what I want to.

The calories account for your activity level as a whole. Even when you're less active.

Beat me to it. Good comprehensive guide there, too.

No. Eat the 2500ish.
-
Made it up. Sounded cool at the time.
-
Sounds like you've been under eating, especially if your BMR is in the 1700s!
-
This too. ^^;
-
ALSO keep in mind that while doing the TDEE method, you are not eating back exercise calories. It is accounted for in your daily calorie allotment.
-
You can eat your TDEE calories or under and be fine, but I would never eat just your BMR calories or below. In that case, I would only go 5%. It would be slow loss, but that's exactly what you need. So if maintenance is 2672, take 5% off and you have roughly 2500 calories to play with. On less active days, I usually shave…
-
You guys look so much younger and healthier! Well done!
-
I would venture to say that you are Moderately Active. If anyone sees this, feel free to correct me. If you're Moderately Active, your maintenance calories are roughly 2672. Subtract 10% from that and you get 2148 calories a day. Why only 10%? Because it doesn't seem like you need to lose weight if you're 147 pounds....but…

I'm not sure what you're asking. Basically, if you eat 1600 calories, you workout and burn 250 calories, you should eat those back so your net intake is 1600 again. But that's how MFP is supposed to function. You can also try eating at your TDEE minus 20%, not tracking exercise calories and forgetting about net intake…
-
lol, No. Your BMR is your BMR. That is what your body would burn at rest doing NOTHING at all but having the organs function. Have you configured your TDEE? Total Daily Energy Expenditure from day to day is probably the number you're looking for....and I don't think that it would be that high, especially when laying in…
-
Yep. I know it, I understand why and I just push through til it's over.
-
Heck yes I do, regardless of what I eat to fuel it. That makes me feel like I did it right :P
-
This. Eat more. :(
-
Strawberries and apples.

My complaint wasn't that you make complaints. By all means, if someone sucks at their job or is just plain rude and doesn't belong in CS, complaining is the absolute right thing to do and I myself will go out of my way to do so. It's the complaining = free stuff that ruffles my feathers. Just don't like that this has…

You are the customer every person that's ever worked retail/food industry jobs hate. I'm sure you're a good person and all, but ugh.

Not sure if BS or not, but I know there are people like this that exist. Once saw a 'friend' post that she was disgusted by how many fat people were at her gym on her FB. Insta-deleted her.

My cat goes insane for Cheez-Its.
-
If I heard that from a coworker, I'd throat punch someone. In all seriousness, if you've lost some weight maybe they're just jealous. Screw them. You should be proud of all your hard work. They'll be eating their words when you hit goal.
-
This. Your normal daily activity is not exercise. Configure your TDEE and eat accordingly.

My husband HATES when I choose to wear make up...which is already a rare thing. Too much time, too 'heavy.' Not worth it unless it's a special occasion.
