  • I have two...I have a polar and one I got from ALDI's. I paid 50 for my polar and 20 for my other one and honestly the one from ALDI's is just as good. Both of mine have chest straps since they are suppose to be more accurate and I mainly use mine to keep up with my calories burned and my HR. I recommend one to anyone who…
  • you are never to heavy to pole ever. I was 240 with ZERO muscle when I started a year ago. my progress has been slower than others but this is an at you own pace workout. It is expensive but if you ever buy one and do it at home that is all you have to pay so it equals out in the end.
  • If you buy a pole look into X-pole or lil mynx they are suppose to be the best. They usually run around $300 but I found mine used for cheaper. U can get DVD's online....felix cane, alethia Austin, and there is one by a girl named Leigh Ann. I recommend any of those. Also you can check out studioveena.com for online…
  • Unfortunately for you they are way to easy to install and as many times I have put it up and down it takes less than a minute to install but definitely worth a shot lol
  • I actually already have two...just with moving and all I had to take it down for a bit till we get to our new place. I get unmotivated at times with it unless I am in a studio. Sometimes it is hard to learn new moves and I don't have a crash pad in case I fall so that can be a little intimidating at times.
  • Ive been at it for a year now and it is my favorite hobby thus far. It builds strength in ways you cant at a gym and I have never been flexible but now I am starting to gain some flexibility in my body. I think the thing I like most about it is the ability to make it into what you want. You can be sexy with it or can…
  • I love mine!! I have two with the chest strap. I bought a Polar but lost my transmitter and found one at ALDI's for $20 that works just as well. It is the best investment I have made thus far....it keeps me motivated and I can track my burned calories during a workout.
  • Where from in TN? Im from Jackson(west) but I live about 40 mins from Nashville now
  • I always gain when I start lifting. I usually retain a lot of water when I lift and it usually flushes out in a few days.
  • You look like a triangle to me. I have DD's and I look more like a ruler so you can still have boobs and a smaller but and no be an hourglass. I have some cushion in both areas and I don't have big hips so that make s me a ruler.
  • pesto burgers are really good I just add pesto and sliced grape tomatoes mix together and top with mozzarella cheese
  • pop tarts are my biggest down fall....I typically don't even keep them in the house because I will eat them. If I have met my sugars for the day however they are off limits. The calories they have just aren't worth it sometimes either.
  • I have a polar with a chest strap. it s pretty basic but worth it and have everything I need. I paid about $55 on amazon for it and it has been such a good investment.
  • zumba, belly dancing, and pole fitness are my top three pole dancing requires so much strength and is extremely physically demanding on the body and makes it stronger fast. I fell in love with pole fitness a year ago and had a pole put in my house which is super easy, plus it is perfect for those off days when you feel…
  • I think the judgmental people who commented need to understand where you come from being a bodybuilder. Your mindset is on the other side of the spectrum than just physical change. I am by no means a fitness guru but I can relate when it comes to a spouse not fixing their health. My bf is a food addict, always has been.…
  • We just got the synergy 360 at my gym and I love and use it quite often. I guess my biggest thing was I wanted to gain muscle efficiently. Gaining muscle has helped me loose so much fat and I just wanted it to keep going plus I want to grow my legs but I have to get the fat off first I suppose.
  • I don't really have a routine per say but this is what I did today... Warm up 7mins on treadmill 15%incline moderate pace but enough to elevate HR Set 1: 15lb kettle bell shoulder press, reverse lateral raise with a pulley?(not sure what to call it), and cable crossover 3x's though 8-12reps increased weight each time Set…
  • I honestly haven't lifted a whole lot in the last two-three weeks out side of our strength training class and boot camp which is obviously full body. I will typically go to the gym 6 days a week mostly because I enjoy it, but I am usually there 1hr to 1 1/2 hr. I do take zumba 2-3 times a week as well as a cardio…
  • they say it takes four weeks for you to notice, 8 weeks for family and friends and 12 weeks for everyone else. that's about how long it took for me
  • I disagree..i managed to loose a lot of fat and gain a lot of muscle at the same time. Both processes have been slowed because I am doing both at the same time but I ve still made progress in both departments. And both gains have been constantly going for 4-6 months. Granted im not trying to bulk for a comp or anything but…
  • two weeks really isn't enough time the weight isn't going to melt off and it will take time. I would eat more if I was you and I would still eat some carbs...im pretty sure the alcohol has carbs in it to just not the kind you want and having a cheat day makes you feel like you are depriving yourself. Plus you don't wanna…
  • if it was me I would lay off of the milk in the morning since it is so high in sugar. if it is from fruit I don't really worry about it. You could also substitute your bread since it has sugar or try Plain almond butter on a banana with cinnamon. It really pulls out the sweetness of the banana and I usually put walnuts or…
  • look up bodyrocktv They have a new at home cardio/strength workout every day and it is free!
  • I wonder if because you have been eating so little if your stomach has shrunk a lot making you seem full all the time. You may have to stretch it back out again which will probably suck but it is a must. Also, your metabolism has bound to have slowed down making your food stay longer....once you speed it back up buy eating…
  • Just relax a little about it. I know its nerve racking at times but it is impossible for you to eat enough to gain 1lb of fat in a day much less 2. Keep mind though if you do any toning you will gain some. It will be a healthy gain and the muscle with help you keep the weight you don't want off but don't be surprised if it…
