I have to agree. Low-carb can set you up for failure if your not careful. You will loose a lot of water weight which people mistake for fat loss and as soon as you slip and have a carb day you will gain some water weight back. Low-carb does put your body in a fat burning zone since it takes a lot more energy for your body…

as dumb as this sounds, I never thought twice about calories. It never occurred to me that maybe I should see how much I should be eating and not what I wanted to eat. I had always convinced myself that I was suppose to be bigger. A year ago I did south beach and lost 20 lbs in a month and was astounded but I couldn't stay…

to me eating egg beaters is like eating watery plastic and I wouldn't doubt it the chemicals they use to make them isn't to far from plastic. I would stick with real eggs....the yolk is the most nutrient dense part of it anyways.

My face went down first, but my body has lost all over pretty evenly. I notice change all the time even though it can be so small some times. I have a feeling my stomach will be the last to go but that is ok, I think most people have this problem.

Your metabolism may have simply sped up with the calorie increase. There is a thing called reverse dieting which forces your metabolism to speed up when your calories are gradually increased. It could also be that you have lost muscle weight and gain fat weight.

Insanity in the morning and running in the evening would be my choice. I did Insanity and it was challenging but not horrible, plus the actual work out is only 20-30 mins and not everyday is cardio. When you start it just look at the calendar, and work your running around your cardio days. You should be ok doing the two,…

26 but I love them!! I just want more muscle on them than what I have and I'll be set. Even though I've always has larger thighs I've never had cellulite and when I started lifting it completely changed the shape of them.

It depends on how sick and when my last rest day was. I usually listen to my body, if I think I can make it ok I will but if I am exhausted I listen to my body and take a break.. Sometimes over working it undoes some of the work you have done. I do a lot of lifting now and if I over work my muscles wont recover like I need…

that's why I said "can become slower" .....because they can. My BF is a boxer and a big dude and is not slower. You take a 145 bulk him up and throw him in a ring with someone who is naturally stronger and bigger he is at a disadvantage. I'm not saying he will loose...Marvin Frazier Jr. came to his gym....and take a wild…

look up mug cakes.....I find them a lot on my instagram news feed. the best thing about them is you can change the flavors to whatever you are craving. Quest bars also work well for me. Microwave them for 30 secs and its a low cal high fiber treat.

I didn't like the way I was, and hated that I got to that point but I never loathed over it. It does zero good. Every change I see motivates me to keep on because I love the changes that I have seen. Am I 100% happy with everything, I still have a long way to go but I accept every change 100%.

THIS!!! It's mental 100%....it's true that once you see results it helps motivate you but two days is not enough time to see a change.

FYI Boxers don't bulk...ever unless they are trying to move up a weight class. The more weight they carry the slower they can become and get classed to fight heavier fighters which can often be stronger if they are naturally large framed. If he wants to bulk, he will and he will do the work and research on his own. Also…

I don't see 130 as a bad weight for 5'6" personally but I also don't know what your goals are and how much muscle you have or desire. I would get my BF% tested and go from there. Scales suck and we tend to get fixated on a number.

First of all congrats on quitting, it is a very hard thing. Try gum instead of food, that seems to help some people. Another thing you can do is eat carrots because you can hold them like a cig but they are very low in calories. Another thing is you are crashing your metabolism and damaging it by eating 1000 cals making it…

stir-fry it has all three carbs, protein, and fats....plus fiber so at least I wont feel like crap and my muscles wont starve

I did a lot and I mean a lot of research online for exercises, form, how much, how often, ect. It all depends on your ultimate goal. Mine is to gain a lot of muscle so I lift heavy. However, you have to get your form under control before you do anything. It took me a couple of months before I really started to get…

I dunno cause you don't have a face....but since your name is hotmama I'm going to say 26

I agree. Gluten free is becoming a fad, which I don't understand. If you can tolerate it, eat it. The more limitations you provide the most likely you are to fail. If you absolutely cant live without pop-tarts, eat one or learn to make cleaner version, just budget your day around it.

I'm guessing your in the middle......20 @princess

THIS!! Your body naturally cleanses every day. Just avoid crap (i.e. eat cleaner) and your body will do the magic. Something you can do to help is lemon juice in warm water as soon as you wake up it helps to jumpstart your kidneys and liver. I'm not against cleansers, but I am against quick fixes and wasting money.

I'm curious on how to peel them??

I think the biggest this with will power is coming to terms that you have to start now not tomorrow with your changes. Sometimes we slip up and a bad meal turns into a bad day. I find myself not actually liking the food I use to crave. Coke isn't all that great anymore, sugary chocolate has lost its appeal, and Chinese…

Not really sure why your fat intake is so limited. There is nothing wrong with eating it as long as it comes from good sources. I've done some reading on reverse dieting and if you can slowly work up to 1700 from what you currently are able to make it to it will speed your metabolism up. I'm still learning what works and…
