I'm a 68 year old with 50 pounds to lose. My main exercise is yoga which I love, but I'd like to find other physical things to enjoy. It would be great to share thoughts and ideas with others like myself. We can support each other during the ups and downs of losing weight making it easier and maybe even fun. Send me a…

I have taken a different route. I really like my coffee with half and half and think it's worth the calories/fat. So I have just 1 cup each morning and sit in the moment enjoying every sip. When it's gone, I'm on to water. This is quality over quantity in my book.

Great Story! So encouraging to others too. Good for you! Enjoy it every time you see it in the closet or wear it out!

Thanks to all of you. I was confused because I didn't thing yoga fit into the two catagories listed (cardio and strength). Apparently, it doesn't. I did find it listed in the cardio list and the calorie count is close to what you suggest.

Jessy, I don't know about the wisdom of going barefoot. I've had severe plantar fasciatis on a few occasions and support seemed necessary for me to heal. I recommend you read about it so you understand what the problem is and then do the exercises that are suggested on various websites. YouTube has some good video of…

Today's my first day and I'm a 1200 calorie gal. Right now its 4pm and I'm hungry so I think I ate too much earlier in the day. I'm learning...
