Agreed. This lady is fit!

I started with some Tupler exercises in early May, but it just didn't feel like the right fit. Seems more appropriate for a very wide gap and directly postpartum. I am three years post, and with a closed DR until I proceeded with an über-agressive core workout. So... I've been doing MuTuSystem's focus program for three…

I had the copper (paragard) for a year and a half. Had multiple symptoms that were troubling, but was told to "give it more time". I finally drew the line when the doctor didn't seem to think constant menstruation should be troubling. I told her either you take it out, or I'll do it at home.

The MacGyver-DIY friend. I can fix most things with my sewing machine and/or household items. I also fill the "deranged sense of humor" spot, which allows others to jump off the politically correct bandwagon for a bit and speak off-the-cuff.

Out here in the PacNW, a lot of people grocery shop, go to coffee shops, and pretty much everything else in work out clothing. Maybe we like to spontaneously work out? Whole Foods, in general, screams self-important. I can get better prices, and a lot less scrutiny apparently, at the farmers' market or smaller co-op. Viva…

I agree with this post. Perhaps he just needs time to mentally prepare himself and adjust to this reality. This will help him appreciate the time he does have when he tells everyone else. For now, relishing the normal is probably very comforting.

Wendy's a great motivator and the website is full of great information. Feel free to friend me, too!!!

A great way to slowly transition is simply to take long walks! Fresh air is great for kiddos, too. After that you could up to a jog, etc. Some hospitals support local "Mommy Jog" groups wherein a bunch of moms get together with strollers and do boot camps with jogging and light calisthenics. As for eating. I also keep a…

Don't know that I could ingest a cockroach... but I have actually enjoyed silk worm larvae and grilled scorpion. <--- enjoyed is the right word, i swear. But they must be prepared. None of that Fear Factor isht.

I was just at a bridal shower last weekend, and they served roasted brussels sprouts wrapped in thinly-sliced prosciutto. So savory and satisfying. Also enjoyed sugar snap peas (raw). Just good snacking veg.

I want to read the crazy in this thread later!

Look up Diastasis Recti. It's a separation of the transverse ab muscles that is quite common with pregnancy. There are targeted exercises to work other muscle groups in your abs to bring the "6-pack" muscles back together (can be found in a google search, as well). It turns out a lot of doctors do not talk about this post…
